The mall of Colorado was huge, it had a lot of shops. A lot of designer clothes shops, salons, restaurants. Anything you ever wanted in one huge mall. It was like i was in heaven,  the most heavenly place you'll ever wanna be in, is right here. This very spot is what you call a place of relaxation, or so I thought.

What I didn't realise was, that it was going to be a hectic day at the mall. All the girls fighting over one piece of clothing they really want, all the boys fighting in the queue for the last pizza slice and especially all the little children running around, making their parents chase after them.

"Is it always like this?" I asked my friends, looking at all the commotion.
"Yeah it is. Every fucking day people are like this here." Calypso replied.
"What do you mean everyday? Dude, do you go to the mall everyday!"
"No silly that was the old me. As you can see I'm a shopaholic. I used to go everyday, that is until you took me to one of those meet and greet events. To stop my addiction."
"Don't mind her Kayd. Trust me in a few months you'll get used to us walking for eleven hours non stop in the mall." Skylar said.
"You're telling me I have to walk eleven fucking hours in this dump with no breaks or food?" I exclaimed in shock.
"Technically yes." She smiled and walked ahead of me.

Sometimes Skylar can be a pain in the ass. I thought.
"Yea she can be at times." Saige said, walking beside me.
"Oh shit did I say that out loud?"
"Yea you did dumbass and I can hear you, you know." Skylar remarked.
"Oh shit I'm in for it."
"You bet your ass you are. Just watch your back Kayden."
"I didn't mean anything by it, Skye."
"Sure Kayden, I believe you." Skylar said sarcastically.
"Guys I'm sorry to break this up but we just arrived at a shop I really want to go in." Calypso interrupted us. Good timing as well, if we talked any further. Shit was about to happen.

The shop we arrived at was called New Look, but this time it wasn't a clothes shop. It was a make up shop, seriously I don't get why girls need make up. They all look good without it to be honest. That's what I think anyway, however it's their decision if they want it. Who am I to judge?

"Kayden and Saige, I need ya to help me pick out which makeup suits me." Calypso said, interrupting my train of thought.
"Why not ask Skylar and Damian?" Saige replied.
"Cause they're bickering, once again." Calypso pointed her fingers at them.
"Fine we're coming." Saige answered back, grabbing my wrist.

"Rosy maroon or dark nightshade?" Calypso asked, holding two lipsticks in her hands. "Dark nightshade. It matches your dress." Saige replied. "Why thank you Saige. At least one person has said their opinion." Calypso said glaring at me. "Well I agree with Saige." I said, smiling. "Okay I'll go buy it now, I'll leave you two to deal with the bickering siblings over there." Calypso left.

Everyone in the shop were staring at them, they were causing a lot of attention to themselves. Why can't they just argue at home?
"What are you guys bickering about now?" I asked walking up to their argument.
"Stay out of this dipshit." Damian remarked pushing me away.
"Don't you fucking dare push Kayden away, you asshole." Skylar replied.

For a moment I thought I heard Skylar say something to defend me. That's a first, even for her. I thought she would call me a name but no she didn't. She defended me. Maybe my charms were rubbing off on her. Oh what the heck am I talking about? A girl like her wouldn't fall for me. Pfft I don't like her in that way we're just friends. At least that's what I think we are.

"What is up with you two lately, ever since Kayden got into a coma six months ago, you guys have been fighting like crazy. Yea I get it's sibling rivalry, but this ends now. I have had enough of you two, now for fucks sake stop fighting. Or I'm going to fucking leave. You got that Skylar and Damian. I will fucking leave you two forever. Just letting you know that." Saige said, letting out all her anger and shocking everyone.

"Saige I'm so sorry, that you feel that way. I really am. I won't ever argue with Damian again. I promise. Cross my heart and hope to die." Skylar replied, hugging Saige. While Damian left the scene, nowhere to be found.
"And what about you Damian, are you sorry?" Saige asked, turning her head to realise he wasn't there.
"Wait where the fuck did he go?" Saige continued talking.
"I dont know but I saw where he went so I'm gonna check it out." I answered Saige and left the scene, following Damian.

I knew there was something wrong with Damian, ever since I met him at the house for the first time. Now I can find out what he's hiding. His secret will be revealed once and for all. Me following Damian felt like a James Bond film, i was tingling with excitement. To know what his actual secret was.

Damian led me to an abandoned shop, where he whipped out his phone from his concealed pocket and dialed a mysterious number. But instead texted the number

POV BREAK

On text

Damian: Hey I need a favour
?: What kind of favour?
Damian: I need someone taken care of
?: I told you that I don't do those type of favours anymore
Damian: As I recall you would do anything for me. Do you want me to spill your secret to the council of the Dead?
?: Okay fine I'll do it, anything to make you shut up about my secret.
Damian: Good
?: So what do you want me to do?
Damian: I want you to take care of the Grim Reaper
?: He's alive? But how is that possible?
Damian: Miracles happen for a reason. However there's good news.
?: And what's the good news?
Damian: He goes by the name of Kayden and he has lost his memories, so it will be easier for you to take care of him.
?: Well then. I'll take care of him, bye now.
Damian: You better finish the job. If you don't I'm spilling your secret.
?: I have never failed and I never will.
Damian: Bye now :)

POV CONTINUED

Damian finally finished texting the mysterious person. I wonder who he was texting? And why he is being so secretive about it? It would have been so much easier if he called that person. I could have listened to it and told the others. But no he had to go text that person. Why is it so hard to be like a secret spy?

As I was too focused on the questions right now, I didn't realise that Damian left the abandoned shop. Until I looked up, of course. Seeing that he was nowhere to be found so with Damian out of sight, I started to walk back the way I came from.

So sorry but I decided to split this chapter in two cause I ran out of ideas on what to write so splitting it into two :) I hope you like part one
