02| Driving Home

The drive home was a drag, whenever I try to change the radio station. Skylar, always slaps my hand away from the buttons.

"KAYDEN! CAN YOU JUST STOP MESSING AROUND WITH THE BUTTONS." Skylar, shouted.
"I wouldn't be trying to change the station if you had any decent music taste." I replied
"What are you trying to say?"
"I'm trying to say that your music taste sucks."
"Everyone has their own tastes and anyways it's my car, my rules. If you don't like that, then I could just drop you off in the middle of nowhere and let you find your own way home."
"Okay I won't touch it from now on. Happy now?" I said, defeated by Skylar once again.

"Who is on the radio anyway?" I asked Skylar, a few minutes later
"It's fall out boy, they are one of my fav bands."
"Well they suck, sorry."
"What did I tell you before?" Skylar remarked.
"That you love me and would do anything for me, such as change the station." I said giving Skylar, puppy dog eyes.
"Don't push your luck."
"It was worth a shot." I exclaimed.
"Well it didn't work." Skylar smiled.
"Well I never." I said, crossing my arms in frustration. I've made up my mind I'm no longer speaking to Skylar, for a while.

An hour later

An hour has passed since me and Skylar, last talked. And we were stuck in traffic. I could see the look on Skylar's face: frustration. One of the worst emotions in the world. Just because it can give you grey hairs.
"Damn it." Skylar, said in utter frustration.
"Traffic's not that bad Skylar, we can get to know each other longer." I said, calming her down.
"True, so what do you want to know about me?" Skylar asked me.
"Everything about you. Such as your age, your personality and especially your likes and dislikes." I replied.
"I'm glad that you want to know me again." Skylar smiled.
"Well I'm eighteen, I like when you tease me, our conversations and me getting to hit you whenever you deserve it." Skylar, continued.
"Damn that was harsh." I said.
"I know haha." Skylar laughed.
"Anyways I don't like fish, insects and you being a pervert." She continued talking.
"What about your personality?" I asked Skylar.
"Kayden, you already know my personality, you've been spending time with me for three hours now."
"The agony I had to go through." I replied, dramatically.
"Stop being melodramatic, Kayden. Spending time with me ain't that bad."
"It is."
"No it isn't stop pulling my leg." Skylar remarked.
"Damn it."
"Oh look there's no more traffic." Skylar, said in relief.
"Where are we even going?" I asked her.
"Colorado. But anyways since you haven't been a pervert for a while im giving you full control on the radio. Touch away."
"Thanks Skye, you're such a great friend." I replied, joyfully.
With the traffic gone, we got to Colorado in under fifteen minutes. I'm coming home, finally even though I don't remember what it looks like. I hope the place is nice, and I can't wait to meet my other so called friends.

"Remember when we get there, to act surprised." Skylar said.
"Why?" I questioned her.
"Because I wasn't meant to mention that you have other friends, cause that would ruin the surprise."
"So you're a party pooper too."
"No I'm not, only to my friends cause I like to ruin on their parade."
"I feel so loved right now."
"Aww don't be, I don't love you at all."
"Rude!" I exclaimed.
"Now it's not funny, when it happens to you. This is how I feel when you tease me. Haha." Skylar laughed at me.
"Look who's the joker now." I replied.
"I try my best." Skylar said, showing off her skills.

Skylar stopped driving, cause we arrived at the house. The house itself looked so horrific but at the same time beautiful. To me it looks like one of those haunted houses you see in Halloween. But that doesn't bother me. I'm fearless, I'm a fighter. Wait what, where did fighter come from?
"Come on dreamy eyes. I don't have all day." Skylar said snapping me out of my confusion.
"I'm coming, sheesh." I replied, getting out of the car.
"Remember, use your surprised face." Skylar reminded me.
