Chapter Nine:-
Guess what today was? Thursday. Which means, I have to go shopping. With Brooke. Kill me please.
I love shopping, a lot. But with Brooke? Hell no. She would drag you into every single store in the mall, and I mean it.
"Look, we have to find a lot of dresses and try them on." She started. "Maybe some jeans, crop tops, you know, the usual."
Okay, this is my chance. If I wanna come out alive, I have to run. I thought.
"Brooke.." I looked at her.
"Yes?" She asked.
"You're my best friend and I love you, but.. I'm sorry for what I'm gonna do right now..." She stared at me with confusion.

Now.
I ran as fast as I could. I looked behind me but Brooke was chasing me so I kept on running. We were already inside the mall and people were staring at us. Some of them were laughing at us but the others were giving us nasty looks.
I wasn't paying attention and that caused me to bump into someone.
"Oh.. I'm so sorry I..." I stopped when I saw who it was. "Mason? What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to get some stuff. What are you doing here?"
"Hiding from Brooke." I looked around and saw her from far looking for me.
"If she asks you where I am, you didn't see me, alright!? Thankyou!" I kissed his cheek and hid behind a chair.
I waited for a few minutes and heard Brooke yell. "MASON!"
Oh God, what have I done!?
"Have you seen Payton? I know you did, tell me!" I heard her ask.
Mason stuttered. "I.. Uhh, I have no idea." Thankyou so much.
"Tell me where she is or I'm gonna cut your head off your body and feed it to dogs."
"She's behind that chair!" He pointed at the chair I'm hiding behind.
I jumped out and walked next to Mason.
"Really, Mason!?" I glared at him.
"She said she would cut my beautiful head off and feed it to dogs!" He pouted. Oh God he looks so cute when he does that.
"I'm giving you one last chance." I told him.
"Thankyou." He said, giving me a peck on the lips.
"Get a room!" Brooke yelled.

Brooke and I checked almost every store here but she didn't like any of the clothes they sell.
I groaned, "why are we here again?"
"We have a double date on Saturday."
"And why are we shopping today?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Because I'm bored."
"Why couldn't we just stay at home and do today's homework?"
"Because I don't want to!" She glared at me.
I huffed. This is boring.
I turned around and started walking away.
"Where are you going?" Brooke yelled.
"I'm gonna look for a dress." I replied and continued walking.
I stared at the dresses around me, most of the dresses were very tall, or had a lot of sparkles in it. Which I didn't like. I continued looking around until I found a dress. It was a black dress. A normal black dress.
I looked for my size and walked in to the fitting room. I took off my jeans and my shirt and tried the dress on. It looked normal outside, but when you wear it, it actually looks good.
I could wear that on Saturday.. Maybe with a jacket or something. The dress wasn't too short, and it wasn't too long either. It reached my upper thigh. I looked at the price tag. It wasn't too expensive so I decided to buy it.
"This is the one.." I whispered to myself, smiling like an idiot.
