Chapter Twenty Eight:-
"How's that?"
"Too tight."
"And this?"
"Too short."
"And this?"
"Too much skin."
"And this?"
"You look like you're naked."
"Do you want me to go in my pj's!?" I yelled.
"Yes." Adam replied.
We've been like this for a whole hour. Everything is either too short, too tight or showing too much skin. There was only one shop left. I had to find a dress, or else, I wouldn't be able to go to prom. Because I won't really go with my pj's, right?
We entered the shop and a few dresses caught my eye. I got 5 dresses and walked to the fitting room.
The first one was a long black dress, and it was off shoulder. It didn't really look nice. I tried 3 more dresses, and they all looked really bad. There was only one dress left, and it was the one I liked the most. It looked really beautiful, so I really wished that it would look good on me.
It was a long, maroon dress, and it was cut open until my thigh. It looked amazing. I really liked it. I walked out of the fitting room to show Brooke and Adam the dress.
Brooke's mouth formed an 'O' and my brother's too. The only difference was that, Brooke liked the dress, but Adam didn't.
"This is perfect!"
"This is bad!"
They both yelled at the same time.
"Adam, it looks good!" Brooke glared at him.
"Do I even have a choice?" She shook her head.
"Fine."
I smiled at Brooke and winked at her.
"You guys argue like a married couple." I said, and ran into the fitting room as quick as possible.
I changed back into my clothes, took the dress and left. We got the dress and left the store. Brooke got a black and white dress. It was like a white top and a long black skirt. It looked really beautiful. Brooke got white heels while I got gold ones. We went to stuff-a-bear and did everything in there. We got our bears and left.
We decided not to eat in the food court and we're going to get Chipotle at home. We left the mall and drove to Chipotle, each one of us got their favorite meal and then we went back home. We ate our food and then Brooke had to leave.
When she left, I took my shopping bags and went upstairs to my room. I threw them on my bed and jumped on the bed, picking my laptop up. I switched it on and logged into my Skype account. I got a message from Axel.
AxelCooper18: hello, I'm sorry I was really busy.
AxelCooper18: hey, u there?
AxelCooper18: text me whenever you see this, okay?
I placed the laptop properly on my lap and started typing.
Paytonray: hiiii! I'm sorry, I went shopping! Prom's next week!
I waited for 5 minutes, and then saw the typing sign.
AxelCooper18: I know what happened between you and Mason. I warned you.
Paytonray: it doesn't matter anymore, we're not a thing.
AxelCooper18: he still tries talking to you.
Paytonray: how do you know all of that?
AxelCooper18: ah, I gotta go!
Paytonray: wait!
Paytonray: hello?
Paytonray: fine, bye.
I logged out and turned off my laptop. It was really weird, how did he know? Does he see me? Does he live next to me? How does he know a lot about my life, it's just so.. creepy.
I texted Brooke about it and she said.
B: that's really weird... we'll talk about it later, when we meet okay? I have some stuff to do with my parents rn.. love yaaa!
I closed my phone and kept it on my nightstand. I changed into my pj's, kept the dress in my closet and sat back on my bed.
I stared at the ceiling, thinking about my life. About Mason, Travis, Axel, everything. Travis started acting really weird around me. Whenever I text him, he either says he's busy or he never replies, and I have no idea why. I always text him, I text him everyday. The last time he talked to me was the day after my birthday, and that's it.
I tried asking him, why he never talked to me, but he would either ignore me or change the subject, so I just dropped it. But I decided, I'm going to go to his place tomorrow, and I'm going to ask him about why he's been acting strange.
And Mason, he always texts me. Whenever I block him, he always finds a way to text me. I blocked him on all social media, and he started using our friends' phones.
Axel? He's been really distant, and I have no idea why. It really annoys me tho. It's like, I have to talk to him everyday. It's a routine now.
What's up with people ignoring me? I have no idea. I haven't done anything wrong. But I'll make sure i ask them all later. If they don't answer me calls or texts, I could just go to their houses.
