Chapter Thirty Six:-

Two Weeks Later.

1 day left.

Today's the last exam.

Tomorrow is the graduation.

Plus, tomorrow's the day I get to see Axel, to see what he looks like, finally.

Today's final exam is History. I wasn't even in the mood to study that. It's just so fucking hard.

I held my book and pen and walked downstairs.

"Hi." I took my brother's cup of coffee.

"Bye." I walked away, still staring at my History book.

"Pay, are you okay?" Adam asked.

"What?" I looked at him.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes."

"You're pale." He said. "And you have eye-bags. Huge ones."

"Thankyou." I replied.

"You're not okay." He stood up and walked to me. "This your final exam, okay? You're gonna be free, and you can do whatever you want."

"Yeah, finally, yay." I replied, without smiling.

I feel so tired, what I really need right now, is sleep.

Just sleep.

I need to sleep.

Not just for 7 hours. I need to sleep for 12 hours or more.

My phone rang and I jumped, getting scared.

"Chill, it's just your phone." Adam said.

I stared at my screen.

1 missed call from Alex.

Forgot to mention, we always ride with Alex. We as in Brooke, Danny, Travis and I.

Yes, Travis decided to join us, finally.

I picked up my phone, hugged my brother and walked outside, with my textbook still in my hands.

"Hi." I greeted my friends, and sat in the passenger's seat, next to Alex.

"Hello!" Brooke waved. "Damn, we all look like shit."

"You look beautiful, babe." Danny kissed Brooke's cheeks.

"She looks like Chewbacca." I said, looking at Daniel.

Everyone in the car started laughing, even Brooke.

"Well, thankyou, best friend!" Brooke smiled at me.

We drove to school, and each one of us went to their class.

Everyone got a different class to write their finals. I was with Brooke and Alex. Luckily, we're all really close to each other.

I sat in the third row, with Brooke on my left and Alex on my right side. I didn't have to cheat any of the answers in my finals, because everything was really easy. But this time, I think I really needed help.

When the teacher gave us the papers, I wrote down everything I know. I read my answers twice, and when I was done, I slowly turned my head to Alex.

"Aleeex!" I whisper-yelled.

He looked at me.

I asked him about the first three questions in the first page and the last question in the second page.

He gave me the second page, but didn't know the rest. So, I asked Brooke for help, and she gave me everything I needed.

"Aren't you guys excited!? High school's over! Graduation's tomorrow! We're going to college!" Brooke exclaimed.

"All I need right now, is sleep." I said. "And when I wake up, y'all can talk to me."

"Woah, chill." Alex smiled at me.

"Drop me home, please!" I begged.

"Okay, okay." Alex said.

We all walked to the car, Alex dropped everyone first, and I was the last one.

A few minutes later, he stopped in front of my house.

"Are you excited?" He asked.

"Yeah, I am." I replied. "What about you?"

"I am, too." He smiled at me.

"Thankyou for dropping me." I hugged him.

I pulled away, and walked out of the car.

I unlocked the door and walked in.

"I'm back, but let's pretend I'm not!" I yelled.

"How was your exam, sweetie!?" Mom asked.

"It was okay." I replied.

"You cheated, didn't you?" Adam asked.

"Duh!" I gave him the 'of course I did' look.

Picking up a cookie from the cookie jar, I ran upstairs. I threw my phone on the bed, changed into my pajama and then jumped on the bed.

"Sweet bed, I missed you." I whispered to my bed.

I placed the phone on my nightstand and fell asleep.
