"Hello?" John asked once he picked up the phone and placed it to his ear.
"Yes, is this John Lennon?"
John nodded. "This is him speaking."
"We heard your song, Watching The Wheels and I must say, Mr. Lennon, you have some talent."
John smiled.
"Thank you."
"We were wondering if you would do it for our record company? We'll pay you $350.00 -- maybe even more."
John didn't know what to say. He didn't know if this record company would like it or any of his other songs.
But, giving a shrug, he said, "Yes. When do you want me to be there?"
"Monday."
"Monday it is."
