Chapter 1

"Can you stop annoying me Emma?!"

"I don't know, can I?" I shouted sarcastically.

Oops l, almost forgot to introduce myself, my name is Emma Oss. I have one brother who's name is Aidan. My dad has been single for the past three years.

It all started when my mom died from some sort of dementia. It mostly attacks the brain, but enough of me ranting on, let's get back to the show.

"If you actually try, yes you can!" Aiden shouted violently.

You see, there really isn't a big age difference between Aiden and I. He's 18, and I'm 17. Aiden has to repeat his senior year with me, all because of Ross Becker. He got into a fight with my brother. Both of them got held back.

"Well I guess I'm not trying!" I said.

"What the hell is going on here?" dad asked," I know I did not raise two black pastors in my house! Now, both of you sit down!"

"But I didn't even do anything!" Aiden and I spoke in unison that time while pointing our fingers at each other.

"Tell me first why you guys are arguing before we jump to conclusions. Aiden take your stand." Dad said while taking a seat on the couch right next to me.

I could tell he was getting ready for something really important. He was wearing khaki colored pants along with a blazer. His tie was almost a mix beat charcoal gray and a fiery blue. He was wearing the cologne mom gave him for his first Fathers Day. He loved that bottle of cologne, along with mom.
