Chapter 32

I sat there on the floor crying when Norman came in and sat down beside me putting me in his arms as I cried when the doctor walked in "destiny I'm sorry but it's time, you need to go" he spoke I nodded getting up and giving my mum one last hug and kiss, her skin was cold as ice by this time. I walked out into the waiting room to get my bag when my dad was standing there. He signed and opened his arms for me and I hugged him. "You ok?" He asked and I nodded "I just need some sleep" we said our goodbyes and I left for the hotel.

I got back to the hotel and just sat on the bed "babe, talk to me" Norman spoke kneeling down in front of me "it's just she's gone, and she's never going to call me asking for money or any more druken phone calls y'know" I let a tear escape from my eyes and Norman wiped them. My phone started ringing "hello?" I tried to talk as Norman as possible. "Hey where are you?" It was Lexa "oh shit Lexa, I forgot about out plans. I'm in London" I sighed "what? Destiny you promised" she started getting hysterically angry at me "Lexa my mums gone" I whispered "what do you mean? Did she move and not tell you again? Cause you know she will phone you sooner or later Dest" she spoke laughing a little "no Lexa, she's dead" the line went silent "I'm coming to London" and with that she hung up.

I was about to get ready for bed "damn it" I yelled "what?" Norman asked coming out of the bathroom "I forgot to pack pyjamas! I can't!" I turned looking at my feet. Norman chuckled walking over "aw babe come here" he smiled a little at me and hugged me tightly. I sighed and just stripped down into my under wear and lay beside Norman, I put my head in his chest and he hugged me tightly kissing the top of my head.

I listened to Normans heartbeat and his little snores before getting up and getting dressed. I needed to go for a walk and that's exactly what I was going to do at 2am on a Saturday morning. I walked out and just started walking until I found myself at a bar across from my old apartment, I walked in and ordered my usual "destiny! Where have you been?" The bartender beamed "New York" I smiled taking a drink "New York? Wow! So you visiting your family? Or back to stay?" He asked wriggling his eyebrows "actually my mum died last night" I said as he gave me a refill "aw destiny, I'm sorry. Don't worry about paying tonight and I'll keep em coming" he smiled sympathetic.

I kept drinking and drinking.

NORMANS PROV

I woke up by my self "destiny?" I asked to have no reply, I tried calling her but her phone was her in the room. "Shit!" I panicked and called Lexa "hey Lexa, it's Norman. Quick question where would Destiny go if she was upset at this time of the morning?" I asked "I'm legit just getting on my plane and the bar across from her old apartment, near the Olympia, she would always go there why? Oh never mind. You lost her didn't you? I got to go Norman, go find her" and she hung up. Wow I could get a word in there.

I threw my clothes on and ran out the room, I grabbed a cab and told them to drop me off at the Olympia. I got there in about 15 minutes, I got out and went looking for Destiny. I went past and searched 3 bars before I found her sitting a in a small on at the bar "Dest?" I asked relieved as I walked up to her "Norman! Your here join the party!" She yelled "your drunk" i stated. I sat down beside her and ordered a drink for myself "oh hey your that hot guy from the walking dead" a girl walked up to me and said holding my arm "yes he is and he's mine, so move it" Destiny spoke up before I could speak, she looked Destiny up and down and left.

I finally got Destiny home and in bed, I lay beside her and she cuddled into me "thank you" she whispered into my chest "for what?" I asked kissing her head "being there for me, I know this hasn't been easy and I don't blame you if you wanna leave because of everything, but you should know I really do love you" she looked at me and kissed my lips "Destiny, I'm not going anywhere, we are in this together and I love you" I kissed her again "I love you Norman" was the last thing she said before falling asleep.
