Chapter 4

"You can't go! I'll miss you to much," Christie whined.

"Yeah, you can't go," Aleesha agreed. I looked at my five best friends, tears starting to blur my vision.

"I'll miss you guys so much, make sure to Skype me," I said softly, pulling them in for a group hug.

"Well miss you too," They said in union. I pulled out from the hug, wipping the corner of my eyes with my sleeve. A tear rolled down Alana's cheek.

"I'll miss y-you," She hiccuped.

"I'll miss you too hun," I said sincerely.

"And where so sorry about Courtney," Christie said. I felt my stomach clench. I stared down at my grey and blue converse. I still couldn't believe that it had happened.

"Tyla, we need to go," I herd mum call from the car.

"I'll snapchat you as soon as I'm there," I whispered. I reluctantly turned towards our sleek black car and walked towards it, opened the door and got into the back seat. I waved out of the window as we pulled out of the school parking lot. We drove in silence. I pulled out my phone and headphones from one of my bags, placing the buds in my ears. Jason Derulos Talk Dirty To Me bleared through the tiny speakers. This is my jam! I put my hands above my head and waved them around, bobbing my head back and forth. Just as it neared the end of the song we pulled up into the airports parking lot. Placing my phone in my jeans pocket I hopped out of the car. Dad placed all of my bags and one for him and mum on the trolly. I followed him into the airport, a blast of cold air hitting me as we walked through the sliding glass door.

"You guys go and check the bags in, I'm just going to the bathroom," I instructed. Dad gave a small nod before heading in the other direction.

"It's huge!" I exclaimed, getting out of the yellow taxi.

"Wow! It is huge," mum agreed, nodding her head. We were standing in front of the hostel, eyes wide. Matt came out of the building with a bright smile on his face.

"So nice to see you again Sharon and Grant," Matt said to my parents in a cheerfully voice.

"You too, of corse Tyla," he added after seeing my playfully glare.

"Please follow me." He guided us through the door and down a dark hallway.

"Here is the kitchen." Multiple stainless steel double door fridges and dish washers lined the rear end of the kitchen. A butlers pantry was set in the left, sinks, stoves and ovens on the right.

"There are four full time working chefs and three part time," said Matt as we exited the kitchen. We continued to follow him up a creaky stairwell and into another hallway.

"Here are the bedrooms," Matt said. There were 6 rooms on the right and seven on the left.

"This is the boys floor and there are 22 of them, so watch out when you walking to your room on the next floor," Matt said with a wink. We walked to the end of the hallway and up another staircase, my feet sank into the soft grey carpet. At the top of the stairs was another hallway like the last, but only with more rooms. There was 9 doors on the left and 10 on the right.

"33 girls are on this floor, there's one room vacant on the boys floor and one and a half on this floor. We like to have two gymnasts per room. There's one communal bathroom on each floor. On the next floor is coaches rooms. Downstairs is the dinning room kitchen study/library and the 'hang out' room," Matt said using air quotes, "You got that?"
