Chapter 1

'Ding Dong' "Cabin crew please prepare cabin for landing. The time in Honolulu is currently 3:47 pm. We will be landing in approximately 15 minutes. Mahlo." A feeling of excitement rushed through me.

"Where nearly there," I squealed, turning to face my mother who was seated on my right.

"I no! It's a pity were only here for a week though, I would have loved to stay longer," she replied with a sad look in her sea green eyes. I flicked my eyes shut and leaned my head back against the chair, the faint humming of the aeroplane vibrating my seat. 15 minutes and I'll be there.

I placed myself down on the end of a soft, green pool chair. I scanned the pool area and spotted a boy coming out of the gym building and started to walk my way, looking at me. And Da-a-aym he was mighty fine. He was wearing a grey and white singlet, black shorts and a black and red snapback. He had strait, midnight black hair the fell just above his striking blue eyes. He had a slender nose and thin lips. I felt my heart rate speed up as his eyes continued to bore into mine. He strolled past me with a confidence that I envied. I watched as he disappeared behind the brick wall. A feeling of disappointment washed over me. I fiddled with the end of my LA snapback that was perched in my lap.

"Should we go to dinner? I've finished unpacking everything," I asked mum, who was relaxing on the pool chair next to mine, a glass of wine in her hand.

"Are you guy's hungry?" She asked my dad and sister.

"Sure," Courtney replied, flicking her ginger hair over her shoulder. We strolled over to a table for four and placed our selves around it. I found myself constantly looking around the resorts restaurant for the boy, but couldn't see him. Well there goes my three seconds of excitement. I leant my head on my hand, my long golden brown hair flowing down my arm and resting on the table.

"What will you be having this evening mam?" A waiter in a flower work shirt asked me.

"Ill have....."

"I'm soooooo full!" I exclaimed, leaning back in my chair and placing my hands on my stomach. "I have a food baby," I cried out in horror. I rubbed my now larger belly in a circular motion, over my light blue lace dress.

"Don't be so dramatic," mum replied, wiping her perfectly lipsticked lips with a maroon coloured napkin.

"I need to go for a walk or I AM going to explode into a thousand tiny Tyla pieces," I decided, pulling myself up from the comfy chair. Courtney rolled her dark green eyes at me.

"We'll meet you back at the room then, and don't be to long," Mum told me sternly.

"Cool, see you later."

I walked towards the pool area and sat down on the side of it, placing my silver sandals next to me and dipping my feet in the water. I swished them back and forth, making small waves. The sun had gone down about half an hour ago, leaving the small yellow lights in the bottom of the pool as my only source if light. "I'm bullet proof, nothing to loose, fire away fire away," I sung to myself quietly.

"You have a nice voice." Someone commented from behind me. My head whipped around to the direction of the voice, my eyes landing on a extremely good looking guy. Mystery boy! I felt my heart speed up as I started twiddling my thumbs in my lap.

"Th-thanks," I replied. He perched him self on the side of the pool and placed his feet in the water, as I had done only minutes ago. He was wearing denim skinny jeans rolled at the ankle, with a red singlet and a checkered sleeveless jacket, showing off his yummy muscles. I studied his tattoos that crawled up his tanned left arm and shoulder, they were impressive.
