The Mistake

Chapter 8

Alice's mother cleaned Alice up and put her to bed. Alice didn't say much and only walked and sat where her mother told her too. They both were silent. Alice's mother was constantly wiping her eyes, so Alice wouldn't see her cry. After Alice's mother ran out of the room before she sobbed.

Alice thought about what everybody would think of her. She knew what her mother, best Friend and Jack thought. But What about kids at school, the rest of her friends, her grandparents? She was scared

She tossed and turned alot that night hurting every cut She had. She was hoping they wouldn't scar. She didn't wanna to explain to her future child, the reason she had scars all over. Wait. I just referred to my future child. I don't even know what I wanna do with it. Oh no Alice thought as she came to a realization. Maybe she did want a baby.

Jacks parents came home to see Jack sprawled on the couch with his face covered in tears. He hadn't moved in the last 5 hours. He did absolutely nothing but think. He wanted the baby

He really liked Alice. She was pretty. She was smart. She was really sweet and nice. And she was funny. He's had the biggest crush on her for the past year. She never showed any interest. And the night that he came over. He thought they actually had a chance together. He was ecstatic.

Then after she came today, his hopes deflated. He was heart broken. And stressed out. He wanted the baby. But it would not be easy. He knew that.

After numerous attempts of asking Jack what was wrong, they left him alone.

Jacks parents were business people. They loved Jack, but they never spent much time with him. They gave him money and gifts, hoping that, that would equal to love. But Jack knew that they would never be like actual parents he dreamed of. But, they really tried to be good parents, they always tried the new parenting tips, and trends, but always fell in thier old habits.

Jack didn't want to tell his parents. He had no idea how they would react. They might not care, or the They will care...alot.

He decided he would go to Alice's tomorrow and talk it over. He would be 100% honest with her.
