summary; sammy gets stressed after a long day
skate maloley's point of view;
I rub my head as I drive home from the hospital. I am an orthopedic surgeon at my city's hospital. It pays well, giving me enough money to pamper myself and my husband and my beautiful baby. His name was Graham Peter Maloley. He is such a cute baby, even though he is obsessed with his daddy. Me. Just like his other dad.
Work today was stressful. I had multiple surgeries today and just wanted to go home and pork my husband and eat something. It was okay though. I am used to this.
I enter the house, hearing louds screams and sobs. I sigh, knowing it was Graham. I place my suitcase down and walk upstairs. I run into my room as the sobbing continued. I quickly change into some sweatpants with no shirt required. I wash my hands one last time before going into Graham's room. I found my stressed husband crying while trying to rock Graham to sleep.
"I want Daddy!" Graham screamed.
"Go." I say, retrieving Graham.
"It's fine, you worked all day." He said, trying to get Graham.
"Go order a pizza or something for us to eat." I say, Graham screaming my name.
"Shh, baby boy stop screaming." I whispered to Graham, who softly calmed down.
"I will put him down, go shower." Sammy said, trying to grab him.
I move him, only aggravating Sam.
"Give me my damn kid!" He yelled, only upsetting Graham.
I sigh, kissing Graham's cheek before laying him in his bed. He began to cry as I grip Sam's wrist and pull him out of the room. That is when I noticed Sam was sobbing.
"Sammy, baby, go relax. I have him."
"No, you worked all day and it's not fair to you." He cried.
This is what I love about Sam. He always wants to make sure I'm okay and that I'm not stressed and I'm consistently happy. He hates it when I have to come home and put Graham to bed.
"Go." I whispered to him.
He entered Graham's room, disregarding what I ordered. I followed him in to see him with Graham screaming in his arms. I groaned, taking Graham.
"Go. Now." I ordered Sam.
He whimpered softly. I turn to Graham who stopped crying and had his head in my chest.
"Give Dadda kissy and huggy night night." I whispered to Graham, who sat up.
He turned to Sam, puckering his lips. Sam pecked his lips. Graham wrapped his arms around Sam's neck, hugging him.
"Night night Dadda." Graham whispered, pulling back to me.
Sam exited the room, allowing me to rock Graham to sleep. He snuggled into my chest, me hearing his soft snores. I gently lay him in his bed, turning on his lullaby music box. I smile as I graze his chubby cheek.
I exit his room quietly, hearing soft cries from my room. I walk down the hallway to see Sammy sobbing into the pillow. My heart swelled up as I saw my baby so upset and stressed. I walk over to him, picking him up.
