summary; jack is a poor boy who lives alone in a small house. while out in a fuss, sammie comes across this beautiful boy.
sammie wilkinson's point of view;
I dip my finger into the water. It waved the lake while I sigh. My sigh was deep and annoyed. It was silent which soothed my headache.
Until, a quiet hum played. I looked up confused. The humming came North. I stood up, tying my horse to the nearby tree as I slowly follow the beautiful and peaceful lullaby.
I see a small cottage surrounded with colorful flowers and bold butterflies cuddling it. There was a laundry rope that was halfway empty.
The humming was loud and hidden behind the curtain of a tee. I walk over. I see a blonde quiff.
"That's beautiful humming, sir." I say, making the boy jump.
He turned to face my presence. Our eyes widen at the sight of each other. My god, he was goregous. I couldn't help but grin widely at his beautiful face. His cheeks became rosy while he looked down. He slowly began to kneel.
"Stop. You don't need to do that." I whispered.
He smiled softly while rising back up. He held a cloth in his arms while standing quietly.
"Why are you here, your highness?" He whispered.
Even the thoughts that I was angry about still couldn't make me frown in anyway. I sigh, my grin staying on him.
"Just thinking." I whispered.
He nodded, giving me a gentle smile.
"Would you like something to drink, your highness?" He whispered.
"If it's not a burden." I say.
He nodded, placing down his damp cloth and walking inside the cottage. I take a look at the beautiful nature. His scenery was most creative.
I held my wrists as he motioned me to follow. I enter his home. Everything around was made of wood. It looked beautifully calming and homemade. He walked over to me with a small coffee cup. It gave the scent of green tea. It was cupped with two hands as his sweater protected his sensitive skin from getting burned. I gently take it, smiling at him.
"Would you like to talk for a little? Get to know each other?" I say.
He smiled and took a sip of his tea. He nodded.
"It's supposed to be dim weather today. We can sit in my den." He said quietly.
I nod, following him to his den. He sat down on a rocking chair. A quilt drapped along the back as I sat on his couch, taking a long sip of the delicious drink.
"What's your name?" I ask.
"Jack." He whispered.
I smile as he continued to blush. I place down the tea.
"Do you live alone?" I ask him, not noticing a ring.
He nodded softly, also placing down his coffee. A hear a quiet roar of thunder. He looked outside for a moment.
"Where's you family?"
"They left me alone when I was sixteen here because I'm gay." He said sadly.
I frown.
"Tell me more, if you would."
He nodded, pulling the quilt over his body.
"My family never accepted me. I would sing and dance with men. Yet, they didn't want me. No one did. So, they all left. Not even a goodbye." He said, nipping at the sleeves of his sweater.
