That's Accalia's mate btw

     I dig into the bag Alpha Cindy gave me and find a mirror. Thank god. I look at myself and fix my hair so it looked nice/sexy, also readjusting my crop top. I give myself a once over; jeans, cute crop top, and Converse. I nod to myself and get ready to meet my mate.

     I mind link Conney to come and she peeks her head behind the tree.

     'You ready?' She asks me and I nod.

     "I think so." I let out a large breath, "Is he ready?"

     She stands still for a moment - probably listening to what him and his pack are mind linking, 'Yeah.' Then she goes back.

     "Let's do this." I say to myself and step out.

     I look around and I make eye contact with golden eyes, the same golden eyes as the black wolf. My heart beat quickens when I see his face and well built body. Shit he's hot.

He practically screams badass.

He starts walking towards me and I start to feel nervous. What if he rejects me? What if he thinks I'm too weak to be the Luna of his pack?

"Mate," he whispers and I metaphorically melt at his suave voice, "what's your name?"

"I'm Accalia, Accalia Graye..." He wraps an arm around me and my heart flutters, "oh lord." I mutter.

He smiles, "I'm Tate, Tate Summit. Leader of the Midnight Summit Pack."

    I've heard of that pack. The Midnight Summit Pack is the most powerful pack in the U.S. I raise my eyebrows in surprise and I feel proud that I'm his mate.

     "Damn."

     "I guess you know about my pack." I nod, "How about yours?"

     I bite my lip and his eyes look at the movement, licking his own as his eyes darken, "I'm from the Darkmoon Valley Pack."

His eyebrows raise, "But that pack is all the way...." His face fills with realization as he looks at the pack behind me. He lets me go and I frown, "So you're a Rogue?"

"No, I-I mean..." I sigh, "yes."

He's silent for a while and I'm desperate to know what he's thinking.

'Conney?'

'I got you. He's thinking about what his pack will think of his mate is a Rogue, but he's considering bringing you back to join his pack.'

'I doubt it. No one likes Rogues Conney. He's probably going to reject me.'

'I really doubt it.'

I'm about to ask her what she means, but Tate speaks up, "Eric." His voice demands and a wolf steps closer to him, "Let my parents know I've found my mate and I'm bringing her back with me."

I smile and the wolves from his pack look at me.

The wolf - Eric - runs off and Tate turns to me, "Come on. My pack would liketo meet you."

"I-" I turn back to Alpha Cindy and she nods in approval. I look at my mate, "Can my friend come too?"

Confusion crosses his face, "Who and why?"

Conney comes next to me and I put an arm around her, "She's a Rogue like me and it wouldn't be fair if I left without her since I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for her."

"Alright." He glances at Conney and she laughs in humor. He looks at her and narrows his eyes, "What's so funny?"

"I know what you're thinking. Trust me, I won't." I give her a perplexed look and she gives me a smirk, "He was thinking I'd be a cock blocker." She snickers and I blush. Tate gives her a glare.

     "How did you know?"

     "I'm a Seer."

     His face shows shock, "What?"

     "A Seer," she grits, "Have you done your research?" She looked at me and snorts, "Lord, your mate is dumb."

     He grumbled something under his breath, "Let's go!" His voice booms, making me flinch. Him and his pack start to walk and me and Conney glance at each other before following.

     I wonder what's in store.
