I stare at my packed and ready-to-go bag with a longing look.
Maybe I should leave right now ...
'It's not time yet, wait until midnight then we can leave.' My wolf says and I think about it some more.
"Accalia."
I flinch, "Yes?"
"Don't you dare come out of this room until the guests leave, do you understand?"
"Yes." I whisper weakly.
She grabs my arm and tightens her hold, "Do you understand?" She says with a bit more authority.
"Yes mother."
"Good. I don't want anyone to know you're my daughter." With that, she leaves.
I stare at the clock for a few seconds.
'Only 3 more hours until we're free. Then we can find our mate.'
I smile.
