I roll over and feel the bed empty which makes a frown come upon my face. I sit up. Did I imagine that last night?

Probably.

I get up and gather my clothes for today before entering the bathroom and taking a shower.

...

I get out after brushing my hair and give myself a once over. I wear tight jeans and a crop top that shows a slit of my belly, finished with Converse. I shrug and head downstairs.

"Hey Accalia! I'm making breakfast." Conney yells with a big smile on her face and I laugh.

I sit down at the table, "What are you making?"

"Eggs and bacon."

My mouth waters and I ask her the question I've been wanting to know since I woke up to no Tate, "Where is everyone? Is it just us?"

"Oh, Tate called for a meeting, but he ordered for us to be watched. Well, for you to be watched." She smiles at me sadly and I sigh.

"I regret rejecting him Conney. I regret it so much. I can't believe I did that, that's so unlike me....do you think he'll forgive me if I undo it?"

She shrugs, "He's a scary ass dude I'll tell you that. But I can't believe he bit you and knocked you out! He's crazy!" She gives me a plate of eggs and bacon and pushes it towards me.

"Thanks. But I don't think he meant it. He was just mad. I would've been." I fiddled with my fingers.

"That's still no excuse and you know that."

I look down and think: yeah, you're right.

The door opens and I look up and see Tate with two guys behind him. My heart sinks when I see him and I yearn to hug him and kiss him.

'Too bad you rejected him.' My wolf taunts and I frown.

"Oh cool! Breakfast!" One of the guys yell and fills a plate, then eats like there's no tomorrow.

"I'm just going to go get some more rest." I lie through my teeth and almost wince at my pathetic attempt.

I head up and sit on my bed, burying my face into my hands when I hear the door open.

"Accalia."

"Tate."

The door clicks closed and I feel the bed dip beside me. I look up and see him looking at me with pain and guilt, "I'm sorry I bit you and...knocked you out."

I give him a kind smile, "It's okay. I'm okay."

After a few seconds of uncomfortable silence, he breaks it, "Please undo the rejection." He blurts and I widen my eyes in shock.

"I...Tate...." I look down and think about it before looking into his eyes, "I don't know."

"I'm sorry I made you feel the way you did. It's just, when I found out you were a Rogue I got surprised. I never thought about having a mate that's a Rogue and it caught me by surprise. I'm sorry."

"That's still no excuse to treat me the way you did. Give me the cold shoulder? That's just childish. Mates should just except mates for who they are." I snap.

He looks down in disdain, "I know. I'm sorry."

I sigh. What the hell. I grab his face and make eye contact, "I, Accalia Graye, undo the rejection."

His smile makes everything better.

No, we didn't kiss or mate after I had undid the rejection. I actually set down some rules just to rile him up a bit.

Rule 1) no mating until I'm ready; much to my wolf's dismay.

Rule 2) no kissing until he does it first because I'm scared he would reject my kiss if I were to kiss him first. I want him to want to kiss me.

I didn't go over the second rule with him though.

Rule 3) no marking each other.

Yeah, he wasn't so happy about that, but he has to deal with it.
