Joe gently bent down and hoisted the large box into his arms as he stood back up and bent his body back so that he could carry the package without it falling or being uncomfortable on his arms.
The day had officially come. Andy and Joe were finally moving in together.
They had been together for as longest the two boys could even remember. They started off as the best of friends in middle school, became the ultimate high school sweethearts, and went to college together before deciding what they really wanted to do with themselves. Andy was the one who pitched the idea originally.
They were finishing up their final semester of College and Joe was over in Andy's dorm room, both high off their heads and incredibly naïve. Andy lied his head into Joe's lap and hummed while Joe toyed with his hair. Andy kind of let it slip out on accident when he told Joe he wanted them to live together but he's glad the offer was up in the air. Joe only smiled at the suggestion and nodded silently to himself as Andy fell asleep on his lap.
Now that Joe looks back on it, it could have just been the drugs or alcohol in their systems. But they were so far beyond that now. They've grown up a lot in the past few years. They were finally settling down and they couldn't be happier.
Joe smiled and maneuvered his way through the slim halls of his and Andy's home. The house may have not been the biggest, but they were happy nonetheless.
Joe set the box down on the kitchen floor, Sighing and rubbing a hand on his shoulder to ease some of the pain that had been growing due to so much heavy lifting.
"Everything alright, babe?" Andy asked, peeking his head around the corner into the kitchen and walking up to Joe, wrapping his arms around his neck softly.
"Yeah, just a bit sore. But I know it'll be worth it in the end." Joe smiled, rubbing his nose against Andy's and sighing happily.
Andy grinned and pecked Joe's lips before pulling away and taking a look around the room.
"I can't believe we have our own home. It's all ours. Just for ourselves. It's crazy to think we've come this far together." Andy sighed contently, walking over to the window above their sink and staring out at their mostly empty back yard.
Andy and Joe hoped it wouldn't be too empty for too long. They had a lot of plans in their future and having a little one that they could call their own roaming the hallways was one of their big ones. It was a plan that was most definitely further down the road of their lives -hell the boys aren't even married yet- but it always pinned the back of Andy's thoughts.
"What're you thinking about?" Joe giggled, sneaking up behind Andy and wrapping his arms around his waist, his chin resting on Andy's shoulder.
Andy hummed and burrowed his head into Joe's temple.
"Us. Our future." Andy answered solemnly.
"Maybe we don't need to think about it so much. Why don't we just live bi-curiously through life and let whatever happens happen?" Joe asked quietly, pressing a kiss to the side of Andy's head.
Andy giggled and turned around to face Joe.
"Yeah I guess you're right. I'm stressing it too much. Now come on, we still need to unpack stuff for the upstairs." Andy said and Joe collectively groaned, following Andy out to their car.
"You know, I feel like this was one of the best ideas you've ever had." Joe grinned, stacking a few smaller boxes atop one another.
Andy mumbled a little 'thank you' as he grabbed some boxes as well and followed Joe back inside, Joe breaking off and taking his boxes upstairs while Andy set his down in the living room. Andy shifted the boxes around so they were stacked off to the sides me Andy could visualize what he hoped this room would look like one day.
Joe always teased Andy for thinking so much on it, but it was the little things in life that always made Andy's tummy flutter. He liked imagining his future here with Joe by his side every step of the way. He knew it was cliche, but he had a plan for this house. This is the house where he wants to officially be married to the love of his life, this is the place where he wants to raise a child and raise that kid to be the best they can, he wants to grow old here.
And yeah, maybe they wouldn't be here for the rest of their lives -even if that was Andy's hopes- but something about this cozy little house told Andy that a lot of milestones would happen right in this very place.
Andy let the giant grin plastered on his face falter slightly and hopped back out to the car to bring in some more stuff, kissing Joe softly as he passed him in the hallway.
"How much more do we have?" Joe asked and Andy thought for a moment.
They didn't exactly have a lot of stuff so it wasn't a very big issue. Plus, their bigger stuff -such as furniture- wouldn't be coming in until Monday.
"I'd say only a few more boxes that we can just put in the upstairs bathroom." Andy responded and Joe nodded, pecking Andy's forehead and running off to try and finish unloading as fast as he could.
"What a nerd." Andy snorted before setting his boxes down in the kitchen.

Oh wow what an abrupt start to a story! No but hi I'm back because I don't like when I'm not writing stories, it makes me feel like I'm doing nothing especially since it's summer break and I never leave the house.
Honestly this story so far has already been a blast to write and I hope that o can finally keep up a steady plot development for once because most of my stories falter halfway through (sorry about that btw) so I hope that doesn't happen idk we'll see!!
But I am glad to be back and I hope you like whatever the hell this little story is idk I still don't quite know what it's about honestly. ~Andrew ( ' ▽ ' )ノ

Growing up *Trohley* (DISCONTINUED)
FanfictionI had this thought one night at like three am and it was really cute so I'm making it into a story. It's really just mindless fluff and has no expostition or climax or plot by any means but I love it nonetheless ( ' ▽ ' )ノ
