"Hey babe!" Andy called up the stairs to Joe who was currently unpacking stuff in the spare bedroom.

Joe set down the pile of books he was piling into a bookcase and waltzed down the stairs to see Andy standing in the mostly empty living room, the only things in the room being open boxes.

"We've been working for a long time and I think it's time we take a break. Maybe we can go eat somewhere locally just to get adjusted to the area." Andy proposed and Joe nodded eagerly.

Joe was beyond ecstatic to take a break.

Andy grinned and grabbed Joe's hand, hoisting them out the front door and onto the cute lawn which they hoped would be more decorated once they were fully settled in.

"Where would you like to eat?" Joe asked and Andy shrugged unknowingly.

Joe and Andy stepped out onto the sidewalk and politely waved to their neighbors -a woman who was sat on the lawn with her child and what Andy and Joe were assuming was her husband. The family grinned up at Joe and Andy and waved back politely as well before going to back to their activities, leaving Andy and Joe to continue their exploration.

The boys stepped off of the deserted neighborhood road and into the slightly busier streets of a the small town they now call home. They passed countless small knick-knack stores and clothing shops before they found a small burger Joint on one of the corners.

"Here good?" Joe asked and Andy nodded, pulling Joe inside.

The boys seated themselves in a more secluded booth towards the back of the diner, patiently waiting for their service. A woman kindly approached them with menus in her hand as she politely said hello and ordered them some drinks, leaving the boys to decided on their meals. Joe playfully ran his feet along Andy's, making Andy giggle and press back more playfully. They giggled and tangled their feet like children until the waitress came back with their drinks and took their orders.

"So what do you think?" Andy asked and Joe looked up from the table.

"Of what?" Joe responded, tilting his head to the side a furrowing his brows.

"This. All of this. This town, our lives. How are you feeling?" Andy ranted, looking at Joe with big eyes as he took Joe's hands in his own across the table.

"Honestly Andy, I'm fucking terrified. We made the sudden decision to move halfway across the country away from all of our family with little to no money and absolutely no pay at all." Joe began.

He ran his thumb over Andy's knuckle and chuckled.

"But you know what? I'm glad we did it. I'm glad we made this decision because if we hadn't, I don't think I'd be as happy as I am right at this moment. We may be young and have absolutely no sure plans, but that's what makes this entire journey so thrilling. And I couldn't ask for a better partner in crime by my side." Joe smiled, bringing one of Andy's hands up to kiss the top lightly.

Andy looked up at Joe and flashed him a silent, closed-mouthed grin, deeply scrutinizing Joe's eyes.

Oh how in love these two boys really were.

After the two boys had finished their meals, they great fully paid and said goodbye to their servers as they stepped back into the chilly autumn air, linking hands silently and walking back towards their new home.

Joe playfully pushed against Andy, causing Andy to gasp and grip onto Joe's arm so he wouldn't fall to the pavement. Joe giggled and put his free hand over his mouth, only to have Andy look up at him playfully and shove Joe back, Joe loosing his balance and falling into Andy's chest. The boys giggled and looked into each others eyes, Joe leaning forward and pressing a quick kiss to Andy's nose before straightening out and starting to walk again.

"My god we probably look like the biggest children to people." Andy laughed and Joe nodded in agreement.

"Oh yeah, but come on we love it. It's so -what's the word? Us. We're a special couple of children." Joe smiled, looking down at Andy.

"And I wouldn't have it any other way." Joe finished, placing his hands on either sides of Andy's rosy cheeks.

Andy looked up at Joe with admiration before pulling how down to his level and kissing him softly. They remained on the sidewalk for a moment before Andy started giggling into Joe's mouth.

"What's so funny?" Joe asked.

"Nothing, I'm just thinking about what we should be for Halloween since it's in a few weeks and I had a funny idea." Andy said, continuing his walk next to Joe down the road, back onto their own street.

"What are you even suggesting we be?" Joe grinned down at Andy.

"Okay so I was thinking: waluigi and Mario."

"Why is that funny? And why those two?" Joe asked.

"Because they're the true otp oh my god Joe get your life together." Andy dramatically giggled.

"My god I love you." Joe said, walking back up the stairs and into the porch to their house.

Andy was about to step in once the front door was unlocked, but Joe quickly hoisted Andy into his arms bridal style and carried him in himself.

"Joe, what the hell! Put me down you nerd." Andy laughed, squirming as Joe poked along Andy's side as they walked into the mostly empty living room.

Joe agreed and set Andy back onto his feet, grinning down at the smaller boy. Andy looked up at Joe and pouted, only to have Joe press a quick kiss onto Andy's lips before grabbing Andy by the waist and hoisting him over his shoulder.

"Joe! Put me down!" Andy giggled as Joe carried them up the stairs.

"You know, this isn't a bad view at all, actually." Andy said, giving up on fighting Joe and just kinda falling deadweight on Joe's shoulder.

Andy smirked and snuck a hand under Joe's skinny jeans and rubbed it along Joe's ass, playing with the flesh lightly.

"You having fun back there?" Joe asked, walking them into what would soon be their own bedroom which for tonight was only a couple of blankets and pillows on the carpet surrounded by boxes and bags.

Joe set Andy down gently and kissed his temple before sitting down on the mostly empty floor and falling on his back, Andy hovering over him and smiling.

"I'm so glad to have you in my life." Andy whispered, lowering himself so that he was straddling Joe's waist.

"You're acting the way we did in high school, babe. I thought you were over the cupcake phase by now." Joe grinned and Andy scoffed.

"I just moved in with the love of my life, let me be a cuddly fuck for a little bit." Andy retorted playfully and brought himself down to kiss Joe lightly.

"I'm not really complaining. I get a lot of kissing out of it so I'm all for it." Joe giggled happily.

"Good because I have a feeling I'll be like this for awhile. I can't put my finger on it, I've just been in a really sweet mood lately." Andy questions out loud, getting off of Joe's thighs and falling off of the floor next to him, staring up at the ceiling and moving so his and Joe's cheeks were squished together.

Joe hummed contently and closed his eyes, nuzzling into the side of Andy's face. He let out happy sigh as Andy wrapped an arm around him and toyed with his hair.

"Baby, don't put me to sleep just yet. It's still early and I want to at least get the spare bedroom completely unpacked. I'm almost done in there and by the time I'm done it should be dinner time." Joe said, sitting up -with much reluctance- and standing.

He leant over to peck Andy's forehead before stepping back into the guest room to finish setting up the goddamn bookshelf.
