I'm really sorry I haven't updated in awhile but I got myself a boifriemnd and I've been spending a lot of time with him yikes my bad but I'm here noW (also I just went on this huge trip to Japan and that was p crazy but hi!) ~Andrew
Andy linked arms with his mom and dad, taking in a breath. The morning had been absolutely insane from the mass amount of relatives and friends coming to congratulate him and the process of getting ready. But now he had a feeling it was with it.
And he knew as he began walking down that isle, that this was the greatest decision he had ever made. He especially knew it was worth it when he locked eyes with Joe who was standing at the alter, staring at Andy with so much love.
Joe looked fucking incredible and he was lucky enough to be he man to marry him.
Andy saw tears beginning to form in Joe's eyes as he giggled lightly and put his hands over his mouth. Andy smiled back and walked up the steps as his parents took a seat in the front row.
"You look so goddamn beautiful." Joe whispered, facing Andy and taking his hands in his own.
"I should say the same for you." Andy muttered out cutely, looking at Joe admirably.
Joe was something of an anomaly. He was such a stunning man and Andy would stop at nothing to give him everything he needs. He would walk to the ends of the earth for Joe and he couldn't be more excited about the fact that today is he day where they truly become official.
A lot of people see marriage as something sort of unnecessary and Andy will admit that he thought like that quite often, even after he started dating Joe. However, after years of growing up with Joe he realized that this feels so nice -so official. It felt something beyond words.
The opening reception had begun officially and it went by much to fast for Andy or Joe to truly let everything sink in. It was a blur of tears and promises and it all sealed together when Joe held Andy as close to him as possible and kissed him with everything he had, Andy felt his heart nearly explode at the passion Joe poured into it.
"Hello, husband." Joe whispered into Andy's ear after he drew away from Andy's lips.
Andy didn't think it was possible to cry more than he already was but he discovered he could because something about Joe referring to him as "husband" made his stomach do backflips in the best way possible.
As everything settled down -including everyone's emotions- they had all retreated to tables and chairs to have their meal for the night. Andy and Joe sat perched up slightly higher than everyone else, accompanying them being the best men. Everyone relaxed and chattered with one another, laughter being exchanged often, when Brendon had stood up and gently hit his spoon against his glass.
He waited for everyone to pipe down before he decided to speak.
"Now I know that it is an obligation as a best man to give a speech so with me being one of the best man I shall do no other. Now, I haven't known Andy for half as long as some of you guys, but this man truly is a beautiful being. And seeing the way he and Joe work together is something I've never seen before. It goes beyond love, and it goes beyond passion. These boys love eachother with everything they have and that is so special." Brendon smiled down at Andy before continuing.
"And Joe, what a guy am I right? He cares so much for Andy and is so delicate with him. When I first met them I was really happy because I didn't have a lot of friends who were gay and even more so partners. I was nervous I will admit but these guys ended up being some of the best friends I've ever made and nothing can replace that. Now I don't want to be anymore sappy because I truly am nearly about to cry and Andy already is crying. So with that I'll just say this: I hope you guys have a very long and happy life together and I want you to know that I will always be right there if you need me."
With that, applause came from the crown and Brendon wiped his cheek as he sat down. Andy looked over at him and smiled, pulling him into a hug. When he pulled away Brendon noticed the tears in Andy's eyes and giggled. Emotions were a pretty odd thing.
"Damn you Brendon, now I have to do it." Dallon chuckled, standing up.
"Nothing can compare to what Brendon just said but I'd like to speak my mind and heart. These guys are so very important to me and they are the cutest couple I have ever met. They work together, they support eachother, they do everything together -yet they aren't co-dependent on eachother. Everything about them is so admirable and they are the absolute perfect couple. And so I'll say that I wish you nothing but love and play into your golden ages and don't forget how powerful your love is, because it is special."
Dallon's words were truly poetic enough to make Joe nearly weep as he stared at Andy and brought him in for a kiss. The crowd gawked and applauded as Andy smiled -and cried- into the kiss. Maybe Dallon and Brendon weren't wrong. Maybe they were the perfect couple.
"With that being said, I'd like to direct everyone over to the dance floor to engage Andy and Joe in their first dance as a married couple." Dallon announced, pushing up Andy and Joe over to the center of the floor.
Joe giggled and wrapped his arms around Andy, bringing him close and swaying them back and forth to the music. They had chosen I'm happy just to dance with you by The Beatles because it truly had a meaning to them. It was the song they fell in love to, back when they really started having feelings for eachother. But that was ages ago and Joe would never of thought this would happen even if you went back in time and told him that he was going to marry his best friend. When joe was young, this seemed like a near daydream that could never happen, he still couldn't wrap his head around the fact that Andy was his and he was right in his arms, dancing with him to their song. Joe could cry.
And Joe did start crying as Andy began gently singing the words into Joe's ear and Joe felt so goddamn loved because Andy was such a beautiful soul and he couldn't love a human being more than he did Andy.
Joe was in utter shock that he got to marry his best friend, the love of his life, his husband. It seemed like a fairy tale. He didn't know what emotions he was even feeling anymore. So many memories were flooding through his mind at that very moment and all he could do was cry and hold onto Andy tightly, dancing softly and inhaling Andy's comforting scent that he grew to fall in love with over the years.
Husbands.

FanfictionI had this thought one night at like three am and it was really cute so I'm making it into a story. It's really just mindless fluff and has no expostition or climax or plot by any means but I love it nonetheless ( ' ▽ ' )ノ
