I was listening to Vaporwave while writing this so excuse the weird spiritual talk and stuff lmao ~Andrew

After about an hour or so, Joe and Andy said their goodbyes and started back to their own home, Andy sleepily dozing on Joe's shoulder. Joe gently nudged Andy through the doorway and up the stairs into their bedroom, Andy immediately falling into the sheets, clothes and all.

"Goodnight, pumpkin." Joe giggled, slipping off his pants and sliding in next to Andy, bringing andy into his arms and smiling at the smaller boys warmth.

Andy hummed in his sleep and pressed further back into Joe's chest, taking the hand that was on his waist and lacing his fingers with Joe.

"I love you." Joe whispered into Andy's ear and kissed the back of his head delicately.

"I love you too." Andy mumbled before fully dozing off into sleep.

Joe could tell Andy was asleep by how even Andy's breathing had become and how gentle snores filtered through the room. Joe let his eyes flutter lightly, not closing them fully.

Joe was beyond tired but he was just having a hard time sleeping lately.

He could put his finger on it. Usually he was really content cuddling up to Andy and he'd be out like a light but lately he just couldn't bring himself to fall asleep. He was tired often due to the little amount of sleep he got and had basically been living off of a diet of coffee and pretty much nothing else.

What was weird is that Joe wasn't even depressed or anything. He couldn't be happier. He was with the love of his life, living the dream. He loved his job, he had a steady paycheck and he and Andy lived easily day by day.

He hadn't been this happy in a long while, actually. His life had really made a turn for the best.

But Joe just wanted to sleep.

Maybe it was just his nocturnally creative mind. Or it's probably more likely that Joe had a bad tendency to keep himself up by thinking of his life and his future. He didn't quite know where he wanted to head in his life. More importantly, his and Andy's life. At this point in time their lives had essentially congealed into one since they lived each day together. Joe still came home to Andy every single night, he always kissed him before he left for work in the mornings and they would sometimes text each other during the day if they needed something from the grocery story or one of them was just having a bad day.

It's just how their day's went. It was pretty organized and scheduled. But sometimes it felt like each and every day felt the exact same to Joe. He wanted some more adventure, he wanted to get out and experience the world with the love of his life by his side before they made any larger moves. Joe wanted to explore. How Andy would react, Joe didn't quite know. Andy wasn't exactly the adventurous type but Joe thinks Andy needs to just escape for s few weeks and find some time to find himself and rest easily.

Call Joe a hippie, he just liked spiritual escape. He liked going on long walks and finding vacant parks and sitting down for hours doing nothing but clearing his mind. He liked to go walk through forest trails and sit on big rocks while he meditated. He was a weird dude to some people.

Joe wasn't weird. He just liked peace and wanted Andy to get some of that experience also. Andy was never a very calm, cool, collect person. While Joe meditated and lit incense or smoked a joint to clear his thoughts, Andy would hide in the basement and punch stuff or lift weights while blasting Metallica so loud that Joe could hear it from their bedroom on the top floor with his headphones connected to his laptop. Joe didn't mind it one bit. If that was Andy's form of mediation than Joe was happy he was finding a way to cleanse.

Joe felt Andy mumble something under his breath and shuffle around in Joe's grip so he was now pressing his face into Joe's chest. Joe smiled and ran his hands through Andy's hair slowly. He looked down at Andy, the light from the moon glowing on his chiseled features and making him look even more beautiful and mesmerizing. Joe didn't think he could be more in love at this very moment in time.

"I'm so glad I have you." Joe smiled, his eyes slowly beginning to drag and his brain starting to become more gawkish.

Joe felt a wave of comfort wash over him as he let his eyes fall completely. He brought Andy's body closer to his and dug his nose into Andy's hair, breathing slowly as he felt his heart rate decline and his hands started going slightly numb.

"I love you." Joe said before drifting off to sleep, Andy clutched tight into Joe's chest as if he were a lifeline.

And in Joe's eyes, Andy was like a lifeline in some ways. He was always there when Joe was having a bad day or he just couldn't bring himself to feel better no matter how hard he tried. Andy made him a better person as it was. He made Joe resize the importance of love and the importance of sacrificing everything for the people you care about most in life.

Joe doesn't know where he'd be if he didn't have Andy around.
