12. He doesn't feel the same (or does he?)

You were on the way to Jacks house. You and Jack were friends for 10 years now and you had a massive crush on him but you were always afraid to tell him in case in case it changed your friendship. You were planning on telling him today and you were really nervous. You got to Jacks apartment and knocked on the door.

''Hey Y/N come in'' he said

''Thanks Jack''

''So what do you wanna do today?''

''em maybe we can play some video games, record a video for your channel then go out for dinner or something'' you suggested.

''Sure!''

You played some gta for a while then you recorded a happy wheels video for his channel. It was 8.00pm so you decided to go out for dinner. You just decided to go to a Pizza place.

You were almost done your food so you decided it was the right time to ask him.

All these thoughts were running through your head but you needed to tell him, you couldn't hold it in any longer.
"Em Jack can I tell you something?" you asked nervously.
"Of course Y/N what is it?"
"Well em I eh I like you"
"I know that already. I like you too Y/N"
"No Jack you don't understand I like really like you more than just a friend. Every time your near me I get butterflies in my stomach, every time you look at me I blush, I like you a lot Jack"
You were both silent and Jack looked kinda shocked until he spoke.
"Look Y/N I like you too but not in that way. Your my best friend your practically like my sister I don't want to change that."
"No it's fine I understand" you said tears forming in your eyes.
"Y/N I ..."
"No Jack it's fine I.....I need some fresh air"
You stood up and sprinted to the door. You sprinted down the street pushing past everyone. You were really embarrassed and now Jack and yours friendship would never be the same.
You stopped running when you reached the park, the place where you and Jack met. It brought back so many memories and knowing it would never be the same made you collapse on the ground crying. It was late so no one was there. You just sat there crying for a while.
Jacks POV
"Em Jack can I tell you something?" Y/N asked
"Of course Y/N what is it?"
"Well em I eh I like you"
"I know that already. I like you too Y/N"

I was shocked.

She ran out crying.
Wtf did you do Jack the one chance you had to tell Y/N you loved her but of course you had to get extremely nervous and ruin it. Good job.
I had to find her, I needed to tell her, I love her.
I ran all around town looking for Y/N. I was scared she was lost, what if she's hurt. Tears started rolling down my cheeks. An hour past and I still double find her but I finally found her in the park, curled in a ball crying.
"Y/N?"
Your POV
You were crying there for you don't know how long until you heard someone say your name.
"Y/N?"
You looked up to see Jack. He looked like he was crying just as much as you.
"J..Jack why a..are you here" you managed to choke out.
"Y/N I love you. I was just so nervous to say that when you told me. I was nervous that you were playing a prank and you would laugh at me when I told you that I loved you. I was nervous that our friendship would die. I was nervous that I would lose you. I love you so much Y/N more than you can even imagine." He said while crying.
This just made you cry more. Not of sadness but of happiness.
"Y/N will you be my girlfriend"
You stood up and kissed him. He wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you closer to him. For 10 years you waited for this moment. For 10 years you hid your feelings for him. For 10 years he hid his feelings from you. For 10 years you spent all most everyday with him not knowing that 10 years later he would become your husband.
