Girl Meets Hawaii

Ch.4 Real fun

Later that day as rain poured down, Riley and Maya entered their room with Riley's hair all messed up and covered in feathers.

"I think I'm just gonna stay here for the rest of the week" Riley said as she sat on her bed.

"Yeah you do that" Maya agreed.

Just then Farkle, Smackle, and Zay entered. The girls said that Farkle was all wet and covered in seaweed while Smackle's hair was a bit messed up.

"Damn what happened?" Maya asked surprised.

"I was dragged underwater by a boat" Farkle grunted.

"A seagull crapped on me" Smackle frowned.

"I watched" Zay chuckled.

"But what happened to you?" Farkle asked Riley.

"Let's just say when you get sunflower seeds into your hair, a parrot comes and tried to eat your head" she said with a frown.

"Hey where's Lucas and Josh?" Zay asked.

But before anyone can answer, Lucas and Josh entered and were covered in scratches and bruises along with their clothes that were torn.

"Do not go into the mountains and take out a granola bar" Lucas said with shock "The mongooses will get you."

"This is why you don't feed wildlife" Josh said as he gave a shiver.

"One of those little beast bit my ass!"

"Damn" Maya said surprised "Looks like most of us got into some trouble with the animals."

"I'm not going out tomorrow" Smackle said.

"It doesn't seem anyone's going out" Zay said as he looked at his phone "It's gonna rain all day tomorrow."

"So does that mean we're all gonna be staying in here?" Riley asked.

"I guess" Farkle said.

"In the meantime" Josh said "Riley can you show us where the doctor is?"

So the next day as it continued to rain, everyone gathered on the floor with bored looks as Josh put down a playing card in front of Maya.

"Hit me" she said with a bored look as Josh out down another card "Hit me."

And as he continued to put down the cards, Maya kept saying "Hit me."

"I can't take this anymore" Lucas groaned "There has to be something to do."

"Well there's nothing good on TV" Farkle said "It's raining outside, the WiFi isn't working, and the only thing we have are these card and Hawaiian chips."

"Well can someone get more food?" Riley asked who was laying on the floor "Or some games or something?"

"Fine" Maya groaned as she got up "Josh and I will get some?"

"Why me?" Josh asked.

"Do you want to stay here?"

"Let's go."

And with that they left.

"So what do we do?" Smackle asked.

"Well I'm gonna go downstairs and get a smoothie" Zay said as he got up "I don't care of expensive they are."

And with that he left.

"Wait for me!" Farkle called as he got up.

"Me too!" Smackle called as she grabbed onto Farkle's shoulder "I can't be bored on an empty stomach!"

And with that they left, leaving Riley and Lucas alone.

"I would get up" Riley said "But the door's so far away."

"This vacation has been a disaster" Lucas said with disappointment.

"Oh yah think?" Riley said sarcasm.

"All I wanted was to have a fun and romantic vacation, but no, it just had to be ruined by rain and mongooses!"

"Wait" Riley said as she sat up "Did you just say romantic?"

"Well yeah, I mean Hawaii is one of the most romantic places, and I was planning on spending time with you."

"Aww" she smiled as she felt her heart flutter "That's so sweet."

"But now that it's raining and everyone seems to be a bad time, I guess we wont be able to do it."

"Maybe we can."

"How?"

"Well" she smiled as she scooted closer to him "We are alone."

Lucas then returned the smile "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Well that depends, can we lock the door."

"Do what you gotta do."

Riley then smiled as she got up and locked the door as Lucas also got up. They then faced each other with smiles as Riley ran up to him and wrapped her around around him as they went into a kiss.

But down in the lobby, Maya and Josh entered the lobby with bags of snacks in their hands.

"You seem to be pretty clear now" Josh said as he looked at her skin.

"Oh yeah" she agreed "My sunburn's clearing up."

"So how are these Hawaiian sunflower seeds?" he asked as he held up a bag of sunflower seeds.

"Well, if you're going to open them, do it away from hair and possibly out the window."

"Hey!" a man went up to them "You!"

"Me?" Josh said.

"Where's my jeep?" the man demanded.

"You're jeep?"

"I let you and your friend borrow my jeep, and you never returned it."

"Oh..." Josh said as he remembered "Yeah, that's probably because it's, stuck in the mountains."

"What?" the man growled.

"I'm sorry, but we ran out of gas, we were going to tell you, but then we got attacked by mongooses and we had to see the doctor and we must of forgot about it."

"That jeep is the only car I have" the man growled "And you lost it?!"

"Well it's not really lost, it's just somewhere on the road."

"You'll pay for this!"

"Damn you got some anger issues" Maya said.

"If my jeep is destroyed, you're paying for it!"

"Maya" Josh said "Would you like to have an adventure?"

"How?"

"Run!"

And with that he threw the snacks at the man's face as they ran away. They ran all over the resort as the man searched for them. They hid in different places as they watched the man look for them as they gave small laughs.

And at one point, when the man wasn't around, Josh quickly bought some smoothies and went behind a large plant as he handed one of the smoothies to Maya.

"Oh man this is great" Maya smiled as she took a sip of her smoothie.

"Now this is what I call fun" Josh smiled.

"You think he's gonna give up?"

"We'll see."

But when he looked up, he spotted the man.

"Oh" he said surprised as he covered Maya with his body.

Maya looked over him and watched as the man looked around and went away. After he was gone, she realized that she was holding onto him. Josh then broke away as they looked into each others eyes. And as they were doing so, they suddenly felt themselves lean in, and soon they fully leaned in and into a kiss.
