Ch.8 Jet lag

The next day, everyone had gathered in Riley's living room where they plopped themselves on the couch.

"Everyone still suffering from jet lag?" Josh asked.

"Yeah" they all groaned.

"I don't know which is worst" Maya said as she laid her head on Josh's shoulder "The plane ride, or this."

"We should do something" Riley suggested with Lucas's arm around her "You know to get our minds off it."

"Like what?" Smackle asked as she laid against Farkle.

"What about we look at our photos?" Josh suggested.

"Can someone get my camera?" Maya asked "It's too far away."

"Maya your purse is right next to you" Farkle said.

"But I don't wanna move" she whined "Not only am I in pain, but Josh is so warm."

"I know I am" he smirked as he reached into her purse and pulled out her camera "Now, can someone plug this into Riley's laptop?"

At that point everyone groaned.

"Well how are we gonna see the picture then?"

"I got this" Riley offered "Auggie!"

After Auggie set up the camera into Riley's laptop, he gave a groan as he went away.

"Okay" Riley said as Riley placed her laptop on her lap "Let's see here."

She opened the first picture which showed Maya in her room all sunburned.

"Riley you took a picture of me when I was sunburned?" Maya said shocked.

"I had to" Riley smiled "You looked like human bacon."

Maya gave a groan as Riley turned to the next picture which showed Farkle with the large bump on his neck.

"Is that what the bump looked like?" Farkle asked with a shocked look.

"Yep" Maya said "Right before the doctor popped it."

At that point everyone cringed as Riley turned to the next picture which showed Riley getting attacked by the parrot.

"Maya" Riley gasped "You took a picture of me getting attack by that parrot and you didn't even bother to help me?"

"Hey that was the funniest thing I've seen on that trip" Maya said.

Riley sighed as she turned to the next picture which showed Josh and Lucas all beaten up from the mongooses.

"Maya!" they gasped.

"That was also another funny thing" she smirked.

The rest of the pictures showed the group around Hawaii at different places.

"Well that's it" Riley said as she closed her computer "So what do you guys wanna do now?"

"I feel like I wanna make smores" Smackle said "And not have it catch on fire."

"How are we gonna do that?" Lucas asked.

"I've got a hot plate that we plug in" Riley said.

"Well plug it in" Maya said.

"But I don't wanna move."

"Do what you gotta do" Josh said.

"Okay, Auggie!"

After Auggie plugged in the hot plate, he gave a groan as he went away.

"Here we go" Riley smiled as she turned on the hot plate and everyone held their marshmallows over it.

"Now this is nice" Maya said "We're indoors, that way no birds will crap on us."

"And we're not using flames" Josh added "So hopefully the marshmallows wont catch on fire."

"Well I gotta say" Riley said as she laid her head on Lucas's shoulder "This is so much more relaxing."

"Tell me about it" Maya agreed as she laid against Josh "It feels good to be back."

"Any of you guys wanna go to Hawaii again?" Josh asked.

"Um..." they said as they thought about it "Nah."

All of a sudden their marshmallows caught on fire.

"How?!" they all yelled.
