The Way Back

Neosha

   I feel something cold on my back and wake up to see Johnny leaving me on a medical table. I know the trip was at least five hours. I see Johnny at the computer room seeing me through a window with other scientists and it seems I can hear everything they say.

"I'm curious what is it that you call them?" Johnny asks.

"Neosha, seems they naturally glow on the inside that is why you can see their eyes glow when excited or reverting back to their original forms" Doctor Shawn answers.

"Are they internally different too?"

"Yes indeed, seems they have three stomachs, rapid metabolisms which makes them eat a lot more, their blood is blue and each type has its own set of abilities"

"Profesor we are about to begin" another scientist says.

"Look at this John, activate it" Shawn seems a bit intrigued.

  On the table I am on I am not restricted, just laying down. I hear Shawn's voice through a speaker.

"How do you feel? Uumm"

"Zuu" Johnny whispers.

"Zuu"

"Nothing, I feel nothing" I start humming to myself and the speaker is deactivated. I can still hear you ya know.

"Can you believe that, he says he feels nothing yet there is about six million volts, that is proof that he is not human"

"Amazing but how" Johnny looks at the computer screens.

"Lucky for you we already know how, besides their insides their bodies are naturally electrified"

"What like electric eels?"

"Precisely but that is not all, you see the way they comunicate is through a combination of sound made by electricity and low hertz or low frequency sound"

"Is it posible to create melodies?" Johnny seems interested in all of this.

"Oh yes, Uumm when Zuu is known to attack, people always say that a certain melody can be heard but that is in fact how he comunicates with others but its frequency cannot be heard by us humans inturn what we hear is...a melody, their vocal cords play a part in how these melodies are created" he says that last part very proud.

"So they glow, have three stomachs, blue blood and are electric..... why do they eat humans" Johnny seems sucked into what we are all of a sudden meanwhile the other scientists are trying to take my blood but no needle works, checking my pupils and all the normal stuff they usually do, as for the blood I turn my index finger into a small claw and stab my thumb making me bleed a few drops which they collect.

"You see that is what we find the most interesting because they are all carnivores, they are meant to kill each other yet have there ever been records of them fighting each other while on Earth?" Dr.Shawn asks with a lot of hand movements.

"Now that you mention it, no"

"Why do you think that is?" The doctor smiles.

"Hhmm maybe because they know each other?"

"Terrible guess, they are not as emotional as we are John, they're natural born killers like lions and tigers. They do not kill each other for unknown reason but everytime we ask how they got here it seems they all answer the same"

"What is that?"

"We have a sample why not just test it out, um Zuu? How and why have you come to our planet?" His tone turns nice when he asks me and monotone when he explains.
