The Way Back

What's the next step

   A bunch of buildings start to fall down and all that can be seen is the east side and part of the north of the city which is still completely intact. Everything else is destroyed or falling. I smash another building as I fall, my entire body aching and my limbs shaking out of the extended period of time we have been fighting. I open my eyes and see Beel being knocked to the ground and stepped on, as I look to the far left Ale no longer moves even though she is still in her original form.

"Get up Zuu!!" Johnny it still holding my horn on top of my head. He is screaming at me.

"Okay okay" I mumble and stand up slowly. As I shake off the debree Mutrix's shadow is cast on me and I wip my head just in time to dodge his stomp. As I jump to Beel's side he is on the floor struggling to stand again. This fight has gone for almost two days  going for three as the fake sun is setting soon.

   I wait for Mutrix to charge and when he is inches away from me I jump and hit his eyes with my tails since they have further reach. They hit and he groans in pain. A plane arrives and shoots one misile towards Mutrix and it hits his neck and that is when I noticed it was a huge syringe filled with the syrum. If he lets his guard down enough he should turn into human and be restrained easier.

"Johnny I have to drop you off, get Doctor Shaws help" Before he could answer I grabbed him with one tail and run off to the edge of the city. I threw him into the sky and Shesmu grabs him and keeps running.

"Thanks Smu" I say as I return to battle and she responds with a nod.

                    John's POV

   After getting my oxygen back I stare above me to see this egyptian looking Neosha. In one hand she has me and in the other she has Kyle. As she runs she joins her hands together making me join Kyle and later placing us at her shoulders.

"Hey John how are we going to deal with that thing" His brown eyes seemed too unsure.

"I got this from doctor Shaw, it seems Mutrix is his name and he wants to destroy this planet, if we can get to the doctor he may have a stronger version of the syrum that may work"

"That way he can be restrained easier" Kyle smiled as he heard himself.

"Is this the Neosha you look after?" I ask as I stare at her form.

"Yes, she is very serious and rarely talks, pretty composed too"

"At least she isn't a kid causing lots of trouble every five seconds" I grin a bit.

"You like the trouble, a boring life doesn't suit you" he chuckles.

"Jaja maybe, he does have his charms"

"I know what you mean, Shems here doesn't say much but she understands me more than most humans could ever" he sits down and I join him.

"Almost there" My eyes widened at the sound of a soft womanly voice.

"Did she just talk to us?"

"Oh yeah she can do that, apparently she has vocal cords very similar to ours aside from her other ones, basically she has a bigger range of vocals she can hit so she can speak to us" Kyle explains.

  As we arrive at the base we both run in to find Shaw as soon as posible and when we do he seems preocupied but we interrupt.

"Doctor do you have a stronger version of the syrum cuz if you do we need it now!" I say as fast as I can.

"Um I do but it's not enough so we are making a tougher version but it has not been experimented on so it might not work" The doctor explains.

"Since the distance between the base and the city is too far we need a plan B incase the syrum doesn't work we don't have the time to come back and formulate another plan" I report.
