The Way Back

I don't like this

  As I woke up I was inside a test tube and I panicked because I could not breathe with all the tubing inside of my body so I broke the glass and took it out of my mouth. As I look around it seems like a different facility then the one I was at before. I look at the very white walls and notice a door, as I leave the room an alarm is going off, the hallways are all empty and I still have the collar on but I wonder where is everyone else?. I keep walking and find the cafeteria and finally lots of people appear eating, laughing and some shouting.

Did they not notice the alarm lights? As I looked through the hallway I had just passed the lights were off.

  I see a coat and put it on to not be naked all the time since it is bad to humans apparently even though it is huge on me. I keep wondering around until I reach the outside and I notice snow. I smiled when I saw the white substinence but it felt refreshing considering I loved the cold.

As I play with the snow a man makes a remark to his companion when he spots me.

"Hey why is a kid here?" Guard 1

"Oh? where?" Guard 2

"over there playing with the
snow" Guard 1

"What there's no way............WHAT'S A KID DOING HERE?" Guard 2

"I know right"

"Maybe some higher ups kid?"

"maybe let's find out"

  They approached me and kept talking slowly as if I would not understand if they spoke normally. I stopped playing and stared at them, they seemed normal, two men in coats because of the weather, one was black skinned while the other was white as paper. The darker one was taller and was the one who kept asking questions but I only stared at them to amuse myself into seeing what they would do.

"He's not answering you think he can understand?" White guard

"He seems old enough to understand but then again maybe he can't hear at all?" Black guard.

"what like deaf? use signs to see if he reacts"

  He starts talking even more slow and making weird hand signs and I just laughed, it seems they took that as an acceptance and started to walk around with me asking people about me and making weird signals and even repeating the same word and hand sign many times until I responded in any manner. I had fun with them for about an hour or so.

  After them giving up they decided to head into some office but before entering I saw Johnny and ran off which made them chase after me. I jump on his leg and he stops completely and smiles as he grabs me and hugs me.

"Oi is he your kid?" Black guard said

"yeah we've been trying to find his parents for a while now"

"I'm his handler" Johnny says with a raised eye brow.

"what?" they said at the same time.

"wait so..." He did not finish his sentence as they both stared at me intently and finally noticed my collar.

"jajajajaja bye guys I had a lot of fun" I wave my hand as their shocked expressions remained. Everyone knew that a handler meant someone to control one of the Neosha. Johnny just smiled and started to walk while carrying me and telling me about how they moved into a new city since the last one is being reconstructed. This facility was where the weapon was being held at and apparently the rest of the Neoshans were taken to different cities except for Shesmu and Preta so that another rampage may not happen again.

"So how long have I been out?"

"Hhhmmm about five days only, why?"

"I'm hungry" As I responded to Johnny I saw Xin walking behind him. I have him a small hand wave. He smirked.
