Fairy Tail x Reader Oneshots

Rouge

(AN: This chapter isn't the greatest or most romantic, but if you like it I could make a part two. Hope you enjoy.) 

"NATSU, WENDY, COME QUICK!" I turned my head towards the guild enterance, Sting, the master of Sabertooth, had just burst through the door.

Not just Natsu and Wendy, but everyone in the guild ran towards him. I heard an array of voices asking what was wrong. 'Sting?, what's wrong?, Sting-kun?'

I was able to push my way to the front of the crowd, and I could see the worry on his face. He looked like he could collapse at any time.

"I-I got here as fast as I could, hurry we need to get to my guild hall!" He stuttered and grabbed Natsu's arm, trying to lead him outside.

"Woah, what's going on?" Natsu pulled his arm away quickly. Sting's face darkened.

"Rouge. He's sick, I need Wendy's healing magic." I looked at Wendy to see her reaction, her face went pale.

"W-what's wrong with him?"

"We don't know."

"Oh. I'll try my best." That's when I remembered something, some of my magic had healing properties. I shuffled forward a little bit and tapped on Sting's shoulder.

"Um, Sting? I have a little bit of healing magic I could also try, if you think you'd want me to come too." He still had a dark expression, but his face seemed to lighten a little bit.

"Thank you, um, i'm not sure of your name. But I knew I could count on Fairy Tail."

"It's (Y/N)."

"Oh, okay. Well come on Natsu, Wendy, (Y/N)! Let's go!"

When we arrived at their guild hall infirmary, two exceeds were watching someone. Only one bed was occupied. I noticed one of the exceeds was wearing a frog suit, and was mumbling to himself with tears in his eyes.

I walked over to him and picked him up into a hug.

"Don't worry, we're here to heal your friend. Rouge will be all right." He stopped crying for a second and stared at me, but quickly cheered up and answered.

"Fro-sama thinks so too!" Sting came up behind me and put his hand on my shoulder.

"That's Frosch, Rouge's best friend." He gestured to the other one sitting next to Frosch. "That's Lector, he's mine."

I smiled at him.

"It's nice to meet you, Lector."

Wendy started trying to heal Rouge first, since her magic was probably more powerful. Within a second he looked better. I don't think i'll even be needed.

Feeling suddenly useless, I backed out of the room, with everyone's eyes on Rouge no one noticed.

I sat down outside the door to the infirmary, admiring Saber's beautiful guild and their members.

After a while, I had lost track of time and I started to doze off. I'm not sure how long I was out, but I  was jolted awake some time later by a punch to the head.

I feel to the floor, hands flying to my throbbing skull.

"NATSU!" I heard an unfamiliar voice yell, the owner sounded furious. "That's no way to wake someone up, for all I know you could have knocked them  unconscious!"

A cold pair of hands grabbed me, and lifted me off the ground, standing me up.

"Are you alright?" The voice asked me. I opened my eyes to see who it was. It was the man lying in the bed earlier, that Wendy had healed. His long black hair covered one of his eyes, and he had a scar on his nose.

"Yeah, i'm fine. My head just hurts. But how are you?! You were really sick earlier."  The man, I think his name was Rouge, smiled at me.

"I'm feeling much better now, thanks to you and your guild's magic." My face tinted pink.

"On, no... I didn't help, Wendy seemed to have it under control so I came out here." His smile didn't fade.

"Well, that doesn't matter, we're celebrating at this guild tonight and you're invited!" Rouge stared at me until  answered.

"Well... Alright, since you want me to." Rouge looked pleased and looked around for sting, upon finding him he nodded from across the room. Sting nodded back, seeming to understand. I watched as Sting faced the guild and began to speak in a very loud voice. 

"Attention Sabertooth! Tonight we are celebrating Rouge's return to health thanks to Fairy Tail!" Everyone seemed to applaud at the mention of our name. "So, without further ado, let's celebrate!" 

A female wizard approached Rouge, Natsu, and I. I had almost forgotten Natsu was here. 

"These are some swimsuits you can borrow for our pool, I have already given Wendy hers." I heard the sound of swishing water from another room, and walked over to the door to look in. Sure enough there was a large pool. I quickly got changed and joined the others. 

I eased my way into the water, it was a little cold, but crystal clear and the color of sapphires. I looked around, trying to recognize any Sabertooth wizards I might know. I didn't really find anyone, so I just kind of stood in the corner of the pool. 

Suddenly, I was very aware of a large mass under me. It rose up, bringing me with it. I grabbed on instinctively, hoping I wouldn't fall. I looked down and saw a wet black mass. Then I heard a laughing.

"Calm down (Y/N)! It's okay, i've got you. Just try not to strangle me." I loosed my grip on the figure immediately, it was Rouge. My face went a much brighter red than before. I really should have stayed at our guild. I didn't help heal anyone, and I almost choked Rouge. 

"I'm gonna go back to Fairy Tail, will you put me down?" I asked Rouge politely. He turned his head to try and see me.

"What?! Fairy Tail? Why? Aren't you having fun (Y/N)?" I hid my face as I answered.

"No, not really." 

"Oh, i'm sorry. You could have said something. Here, follow me." He got lifted me off his shoulders and back into the pool. Then he stretched, and gave me a hug. "I'm sorry you weren't enjoying yourself." His chest was wet and slippery from the pool water. Next he turned and walked out of the pool. "You can change in the room you did earlier." 

I followed his advice and headed for the changing room. When I emerged, redressed in my regular clothes, he was standing there waiting. It surprised me a little. He shoved something in my pocket and brushed his hair around with his hand. 

"Look at that later. Goodbye (Y/N)." With that he walked away, and I slowly made my ways towards the guild's exit. I walked to my little apartment instead of the guild, wondering if Rouge always acted that strange. 

When I got home and changed into my pajamas, I remembered the object. I pulled it out and began to examine it. It was a folded piece of paper that looked like it was written quickly and had water stains on it. 

I read it to myself slowly, "Hey, (Y/N). I'm really sorry you weren't having fun. I fell bad. Let me take you out somewhere and get to know you better, so you'll have someone yo know in Sabertooth. Just stop by the guild, as long as i'm there we can go. Hope to see you then. - Rouge"

A smile crossed my face as I refolded the note and placed it on my desk. I went to bed soon after. Tomorrow i'd have to tell my Fairy Tail friends about this. My smile grew wider as I though. Going out with Rouge sounded amazing.
