Part 4: Flashback 1

Rhea... That was her real name. Rhea, the sweet, innocent girl who was fun loving. She loved her life, her parents and her childhood sweetheart Rhishab. They both were the only kids of the family.

Rishab used to live with Rhea's family most of the times since his father was mostly abroad. His mother was no more. Apparently, she had become victim of business rivalry. That was when his father had left him with invisible care that only father and son knew. After losing his mother, he knew not to trust anyone. But Rhea was exceptional and so was her family. It had taken some time for him to open up to her. And Rhea, too, was quite persistent on not leaving him alone right from the time when they were first introduced. It was her persistence and innocent love that had captured little Rishab's heart. And after some time, they were close. He loved her and she loved him back. But he never engaged her in any of his family information and she, too, amazingly had dropped the topic after her first attempt due to curiosity and the hurt that his face reflected. Their relationship was totally based on trust and understanding and of course, love!

Rhea loved observing and reading people and sometimes even manipulating them for fun. She had got her hobbies of computer hacking and spying from Rish, as she called him, who wanted to be a detective, as he always said but never mentioned why. She was bright and quite intelligent to grasp the new information. This was her small world filled with unlimited love and happiness. Her parents were supportive in everything she did, even for Rishab, they had not made any objections even though they did not know anything about his family.

She had chosen human psychology as her subject of interest in her college. It was her last semester of her bachelor degree when she had to do the internship project. She was allotted a partner from the professor. Kaya, as her name was, she was physically slim and beautiful whereas Rhea had her curves which made her attractive.

Kaya's father was a businessman who had dealings with black market, underworld and local politicians as well. Her world was quite larger than Rhea and she never failed to flaunt it. This time also, she wanted to do the same, use her father's contact for the internship. She wanted to work with politicians since she expected this would be boost to her career as well. Though the idea had appalled to Rhea to great extent but Kaya was quite adamant. Rhea tried manipulating her but failed and finally she gave in.

Kaya's father had helped them getting appointment with one of his most trusted acquaintances, Singhal, who was famous for social works. When Singhal had provided an evening appointment, Kaya's father had agreed because of the trust he had on him. Both Rhea and Kaya had made sure that they reached on the time. Rhea's parents were utterly worried so they had accompanied the girls. Unfortunately, they were not even allowed inside the gate of the mansion Singhal had. Rhea assured them that they both would be fine and back soon. As per their information, the appointment was scheduled with Singhal only. But after some time Mir, another local politician, had also joined them. Rhea tried her best to make them understand what their project was and what they wanted to do. Apparently, none of them showed much interest in the project but their interest in girls was not hidden from Rhea whereas Kaya was still mesmerized by the mansion, its antique collections and interior. Rhea gathered it very quickly that they were just trying to make them stay for longer and she tried warning Kaya who was just lost in admiring the mansion. This was high time when Rhea mentioned that they should leave when Singhal stopped her.

"What is the hurry girl? We are still not done with the interview."

"Thank you so much for your time Mr. Singhal but we will come another time. I am sure you would have other important work to do."

"Oh come on! Don't displease me. It won't be good for your career and future. And I am sure that you want to grow in your life." He mocked her the same way, she had spoken.

"Mr. Singhal, its already late for us and my parents are waiting outside. So you see, we have to go or they will get much worried." She attempted to scare him showing that she was not alone here. After all he had to maintain a public image.

"Your parents? I see."He called a servant and whispered something in his ear. He nodded and left. Then Singhal turned to face her.

"They are taken care of. Now there must not be any issue." And he gave her a devious smile which scared her core.

"What do you mean by taken care of? Let me go to them." And she turned on her heels to leave when she was pulled back to face the lecher with eyes full of lust.

Anger filled her and she acted on impulse. Before even realizing it, she slapped him right across the face. There was pin drop of silence in the room. Singhal had his face turned into red and shocked. Rhea, too, gasped in shock when she realized what she had done. And then went another slap, this time it was Rhea who cried in pain. He held her by hairs tightly and pulled her all the way to a bedroom closing the door. She struggled too much and even tried punching him which earned a few more slaps and punches in return. She cried due to excruciating pain that she felt from punches and slaps on her face and stomach. Last thing that Rhea remembered was her clothes being ripped apart and her body being thrown on the bed and being groped with an animalistic growl in background.

On the other hand, Kaya had come out of her trance and tried escaping but Mir took hold of her.

"Oh no! Not so easy you slut! Where are you leaving to?" And with that he dragged her to another room filling it with the cries of pain and agony.

After sometime, both Singhal and Mir came out laughing the laugh of menace. Mir indicated his departure to Rhea's room whereas Singhal sat for a drink. He heard a faint noise and turned back to see a bloodied naked and assaulted Kaya pointing Mir's gun at him.
