Nathan.

He was her only mistake in past 10 years when she was under training. He was her college friend. She was still struggling hard to accept the events that had taken place. Usually she was always in control but that specific day had made her drink and she drank like she was just back from Sahara desert. In the moment of weakness, she had lost her control and Nathan, who was supposed to take care of her had started taking advantage of her. She knew he always had a creepy feeling for her but she had doubted that he would go to that level. Luckily, her assigned and professional guards were always around and she was saved leaving Nathan with good black eye, broken nose and teeth. Apparently, that too was not sufficient for him and he kept coming for her. To avoid any scandal, she had changed her college and her contacts as well.

After such a long time, the scoundrel was back again. She knew she could not risk her hard work of last 10 years because of such idiots. The worst part, he was that dog who fed on the money thrown his way. She still did not remember if she had spilled any beans in front of him but she could not take any chance.

She was brought back to present with the smell of steaming cup of coffee.

Prithvi understood what she was thinking so he directly moved to the point.

"What are you planning now?"

She sighed but replied anyway.

"I can't have him wandering loose. If not anybody else, someone from media might be interested in his side of story and I can't afford to get into any useless mess."

"You mean..."

"He needs to be taken care of."

Prithvi halted in mid way of sipping his coffee. Her voice had such a chilling effect. He could not believe that she was the same person at the event and in the shower. Shower... Oh god!! He needed a cold shower tonight, not that this was anything new for him.

Though she was drinking her coffee, she was far away. Prithvi realized that tonight she needed to be alone, knowing very well that nothing could harm her in her own house considering the level of hi- tech security she had kept. He decided to call it a night which she vaguely acknowledged.

Her mind wandering in past.

She had done too much of hard work. 10 years! Almost for 10 years she had not slept properly. Her past, her targets had kept her awake for nights. She had sleepless nights filled with nightmares and worse, yet the best, no one to support her, hug her and say: "Don't worry; everything will be back to normal." And she did not need anyone now. She came out as a brave, strong minded woman. The business she had established was just a cover the revenge she wanted. Apart from her business, she used a handful of people just for her own purpose.

She might not love her own life but she knew there were lots of lives that were dependent on her and a few she was controlling. She had a handful of men working under her in her control. Thanks to her private detective, George. He, too, was working only for her. He was her first achievement towards her revenge.

Initially, it was quite difficult to make him do so but then she got hold of his daughter. Being the best detective, even he could not figure it out how his daughter had just disappeared from the school. But soon after that, she had sent him a recorded message in a male's voice in a cd where she confirmed that his daughter was with her, in a good state of course. She challenged him to use all his brains and power for two weeks to find his daughter but without help of police or else his daughter would suffer. She had also suggested him to spread a word that his daughter is being transferred to another school and also that he is retiring as detective. He was relieved that his daughter was fine and just to get some clue, he went to get the cd from player. But even before he could get that, the cd burnt without even affecting his player. He was shocked. He did not had any proof against her. He tried everything in his power, but could not trace his daughter. And after a few days only, he was bound to work with her. But she made sure that after a period of time, it was not any obligation but his choice. For that, initially, she sent him a monthly footage for six months, of his daughter saying that she was fine and doing good in her studies, even shared the grades that she got in her class tests. And slowly from monthly, that became quarterly, half- yearly and finally yearly. She never forgot to send the footage which was self destructed, just of 3 minutes, on a particular date, his daughter's birthday. This had helped her gain the trust she needed from George, but kept it professionally. She never got involved emotionally with any of her employees.

Same was the case with all her personal employees, be it her doctor Aaditya, computer hacker Joe, a techie Aakash, an explosion expert John, an engineer Jake, even her personal driver Kasim, butler Timothi, laundry man Adam and dress designer Isabelle. She made sure that they all were the best at what they did and had some weakness, especially family. She would go for either kids or parents and if required, spouses as well. It was her strict instruction that there must not be any personal conversation going on between any of her personal employees. Initially they had tried, but figured out very soon that they were being watched, every minute, every second of their life and both their work and life were being accounted. It took a couple of years for all of them to trust her but she never trusted any of them though she double checked that their families were safe, healthy and getting all the necessities fulfilled to the extent of sending kids to school trips as well.

They trusted her but did not know anything about her past or why they were forced to work for her. Initially they all tried to pry in their own way. But as they proceeded with their assigned work, they realized that whatever it was, it was for a good cause. They had learned not to question her or her intentions.

She had planned everything, each one of them had specified job and she refused to fail. This was very important for her. The vengeance she had deep buried inside her was not letting her have her peace. Someone might call her selfish for the intentions and the justification she had for her work. For world, she might be a successful business woman but she knew what she actually was and what she became. Her innocence was ruined, unfortunate for her, not once, but twice; worse by the same people. Not only that, she knew she was not the only victim. 10 years back they were just MLAs but today, they were ministers of the State. And what an irony this was; one of them was Manas Singhal- Minister for Women Welfare and the another on was – Shaktar Mir- Home Minister. Their bonding back then was too strong and now they were precedent of friendship. Whenever she watched them on news, she felt the same pain what she felt back then. But to achieve her only goal of life, she was watching their every move, followed them on all the social media sites. They had become too powerful to be touched. But again, she was also not the same innocent and inexperienced. She had not only changed mentally but physically as well. She had become mentally strong and hard to resist attractive.

The man back there at media, Nathan was her current problem. She knew he would not keep his mouth shut and she had come too long to let anyone destroy it. She picked her mobile and made two short calls of 30 seconds each. After that she played a soft music, took wine glass in her hand and sat on her recliner closing her eyes.

A week had passed since the media incidence and she had made a couple of calls more in this case. She knew that it would be all over some news channels today. For her confirmation, she started the TV and switched to all the news channels and then she found it on a local news channel: "Man died in a car accident; reported to have failed brakes along with excess alcohol in his system" with a photograph of Nathaniel at the top side. A small smile crept at her lips. As usual, she had cross checked the information on her own.

But still her night was long.. As usual. Her mind went back to the time when she was a simple girl, leading a normal life.

10 years back... She was so happy.
