Surprise [Five]

Mike's P.O.V.
Before I could express myself after calling her my mate her eyes seemed to just go blank, clearly she was in shock. Then I realized she was falling, her eyes were closed and the girl behind her wasn't taking any action to catch my sweet mate. I dove catching her with the wind knocked out of me, Jake was next to me holding her up too. It wasn't that she was heavy or anything.....she actually was pretty light, her touch produced warmth running through my veins instantly making one thought run through my mind ~She's mine~ I started zoning out stareing at her, my brother could be heard barking orders but I wasn't paying attention to that brat. My mate needed me now and I wasn't going to leave her side. Abruptly I was pulled from her side, all happiness that was running through me cut short and replaced with emptiness and anger. I turned seeing it had been Jake who fairly seemed an equally pissed off, his voice finally reaching my ears as I looked at him.

"She's alright.....it seems both her and her beta passed out. I just sent a warrior for their pack doctor, are you uh......you ok Mike?"
His eyes filled with concern only making my broken demeanour smile for the care he was showing me, his twin, after so long. I smiled weakly turning back to her
"You never told me what she smelt like to you.....for me it was a strong scent of strawberries for her wolf and chocolate.....I guess neither would know it's the same girl until now....."

Jake's P.O.V.
I could tell he felt.....broken, mostly whenever twins get the same mate, as always, they end up fighting for their one mate. I really don't want to kill Mike, he's almost part of me. Then what if our mate chooses me over him? He'd just kill himself to stop me from killing him, he knows I wouldn't be able to do that....I could just reject my sweet mate but then my brother would either get hurt fighting me for hurting her feelings or protecting me from her pack.
I sighed loudly looking over the warriors who were surrounding us. I heard the same door open from which my mate had come from but a gasp of surprise was all I heard before the warriors who were trying to wake the beta parted. An older female stared in surprise at me and Mike before dropping on her knees a distance away from us and our mate, I smelt her fear, her surprise and something unfamiliar.....sadness? She hesitantly looked up at us both parting her lips to say something but was choking on her words in shock.
"Y-Your majesties"
I could feel myself smirk looking down at the female.
"Rise up luna Ginger, who is our mate to you ma'am?" She looked at our mate and hesitantly answered staring at the younger female
"She's my daughter sir.....the next luna of the nightshade pack and engaged to the future alpha of the blood moon pack s-sir"
My smirk disappeared replaced with a scowl, I could hear myself growling loudly making the luna cower in fear. Mike of course was extremely pissed possibly even more than me
