Welcoming

I sat on my bed staring ahead of myself towards the beautiful black painted walls with little white wolves everywhere, my mind started thinking of my pack that was now awhile away that included my mother, warriors, omegas, pups. Supposedly the twins had gotten back earlier today but had refused talking to me due to how happy their mother had been meeting me.

~Flashback~
I walked into the royal conference room and saw the two people who would determine when I was to mate with their sons, the woman or should I say "mother" greeted me happily while her husband stayed silent watching us both interact.

"Hello Sarah, so from the news told by my sons you are their mate correct?" I smiled weakly, frightened they would deem me unfit.

"Yes ma'am, also when the boys showed up I had been alpha of the Nightshade pack-" she gushed more grabbing my hand gently while looking into my eyes. Her husband only watched our interactions quietly, I could feel my heart pick up pace as if I was some rough caught running from others.

"You're perfect for my baby boys. You're their complete opposite in every way, I can't believe the kingdom will be lucky enough to have you as their queen as soon as the boys get back"

I sighed contently at her response, that usually was an acceptance as much as I knew considering a male would never fight with his mate because the ways she could punish him and the other way around. They both smiled now holding my hands, the twins' dad sat closer to his mate before looking at my neck growing at what he saw. Was he mad at me? Was he going to question his mate's decision on letting me be with my mates?

"Did the boys force you to let them mark you?" His voice had a razor edge to it making it more of a forced question than personal , I was scared honestly of him shifting and tearing me apart.
I shook my head quickly, looking to the queen for backup but she stared at the marks terrified.

D-Did they hate me for already having their sons' marks without their knowledge of it happening yet.
"N-No sir, it happened at a somewhat intimate moment I started the day before our trip. I believe Mike had been on the phone making plans just before-" I cut myself off feeling the tension in the room disappear as the queen started laughing happily.

"Don't worry dear it happened to me with the boys' father almost the same way, there's no need to be sorry about them proclaiming that you're theirs. Well I expect seeing you tomorrow to get you fitted in new dresses and plan the wedding" I nodded not liking it but agreeing anyways.

I stood up and bowed before hugging her, she hugged back rubbing her scent onto her soon-to-be daughter-in-law. I had never been so content on being accepted anywhere before.

~flashback end~

I held onto the pillow tightly trying to make it feel any similar to my mates loving arms around my waist with them pressed up tightly against my bum and my- I was pulled from my thoughts as a feeling ran through my body just like the day I found the boys, my heart was soaring happily and I no longer felt the need to hug the pillow so tightly. I slowly drifted off to sleep content knowing my mates would be asleep by my side when I was to wake up the next day.

It's short I know but I hadn't updated in awhile because the holidays so yeah....I'll try making it longer next chapter.
