Chapter 33: I'm Ready

HEYO I'M BACK! THIS IS WHAT? MY SECOND TIME UPDATING THIS WEEK? OH WELL WHO CARES. I DON'T KNOW WHY I BOTHER TO DO THESE LITTLE THINGS IF I NEVER KNOW WHAT TO SAY. ON WITH THE STORY.

(Lucy POV)

   Natsu released me from our hug and we looked at each others eyes, staring at the dancing flames that reflected in our eyes. "We're here." natsu announced. I broke the eye contact to see a big green meadow with trees surrounding it and by the sound of it, a waterfall somewhere deeper in the forest. There was an artificial sun in the artificial sky and I was flabbergasted that I was underground.

   "When did we go down the stairs?" I asked my boyfriend. "While you were enchanted by my flames and when we were talking. You were so focused on me that you forgot about the dark staircase we were heading down. It's just like with every dark thing in your life, I'll be there to light you up and make you forget about it." Natsu responded.

   I blushed and looked down at my feet. "C'mon let's go join the others, Gramps is about to make an announcement." The pinkette said leading me towards a small hut that was just big enough for everyone to fit in it. As we entered I quickly figured out it was the dining hut.

   We went over to a table and sat with the rest of our friends. "Well i'm glad you could make it flame brain." Gray said sarcastically. Natsu jumped on the table with his fists clenched and ready to fight. "You wanna go ice princess?" Natsu shouted. The two went on to fighting and taking turns giving each other insults. "Some things never change do they?" I sweatdropped. "Nope, but would you have it any other way?"Levy giggled. "Of course not." I pulled her in a tight embrace stating a greeting and she hugged back. 

   I was happy that I could hug my friends without having a panic attack that I just wanted everyone to join us. "Erza, Juvia come join us!" I cheered. They nodded and we all gathered for a group hug, all happy that we could hug each other in a group hug once again. "Juvia missed you so much!" Juvia said as she smiled at me. "I missed you too Juvia." I smiled back. "Welcome back Lucy, I hope all is well." Erza said. "I'm slowly getting there." I sighed as we release from our hug. "I should stop those two from fighting before they destroy the mess hall." Erza said walking over to my boyfriend and his rival.

   Not even five seconds later both boys were at the table with a huge bump on their heads and on the table, while Erza triumphantly sat down beside her boyfriend. We all started talking about magic and that they had to keep it a secret. When I first realized they had powers I was so upset they didn't tell me, but then they told me if they did they would get in huge ultra mega big trouble with Gramps.

   After sometime of talking we were served lunch, nothing special just grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup which was prepared by MiraJane and Kinana. "I haven't had this meal since I was little." I said after swallowing my sandwich. I didn't quite hear what my friends said to repond to my comment, I kind of zoned out. 

   When I was little......Pain......Fear......Darkness. I don't want to remember anything from my past, my past can just die!

   "Lucy are you okay?" I snapped out of my trance to someone calling me and a shortage of breath and a pain in my chest. Oh no, another panic attack. I quickly grabbed onto Natsu's arm and looked at him with fear filled eyes. "I know I know, calm down. You're going to be fine. Here." Natsu then held out his hand and lit it ablaze, I stared at his flaming hand and instantly felt calmed and relieved. As I continued to stare at his blazing hand I lightened my grip on his arm and started leaning against his shoulder with closed eyes.

   "What was that about Lu-chan?" Levy asked with a very worried tone with a matching expression. Natsu put a finger to his mouth to silence the bluenette. "Don't mention anything about her past, otherwise she'll have a panic attack." Natsu whispered so I couldn't hear him but I did anyways.

   "It doesn't matter though, I'm fine now." I said opening my eyes and sitting up and Natsu put out his enflamed hand. "It's just a way to calm me down. I find his fire quite relaxing and calming." I explained. "Awww that's a very sweet gesture Natsu!" Levy squealed. Natsu turned his head and scratched his chin. "Psh whatever. I'd do anything for her." He mumbled so low we could hardly hear him. The whole table went into a chaos of 'awws' and 'that's so sweet' and other lovely dovey comments while i hid my red face in my hands. 

   "Well it's about time Mr. "I don't need a girl 'cuz I'm too punk rock" got a girl." Gray smirked. "Shut up ice cube!" Natsu shot back. "Yea don't you 'member saying that you're a lone wolf who don't need some damn woman to keep you in place?" Gajeel put in. "You can shut up too, ya bucket of nuts and bolts!" Natsu yelled. "Well well well, so if all those things are true then I guess you don't need me, eh?" I said getting up and started to walk away but a hand grabbed my arm and brought me back. I flew back but landed gracefully, somehow, on Natsu's lap with his arms around me. "That was before I knew what kind of woman you are." He said huskily causing me to blush again. 

   Our table erupted in a fit of laughter of the sight. "Lucy, you can count on us to not even say a peep about you-know-what, right everyone?" Erza glared at the whole group at our table which earned lots of gulps and pale faces. "Hai!"

   "Listen up brats!" Everyone turned to look at the stage by the main door and there was Gramps, with a microphone in his hand. "In 20 minutes we will meet in the field and there we will begin your training. We need to stay focused, work hard, train your body and mind, but most of all we will take down the enemy with our spirit because nobody messes with Fairy Tail mages and gets away with it!" The hall erupted in cheers and tables flipping and hands clapping.

   "Ladies, if you will follow MiraJane to the girls lounge. Boys, follow Laxus to the boys lounge! Now move out!" Gramps shouted. The hall cleared out within seconds, the girls following MiraJane to the right of the hall to their lounge, while the boys followed Laxus to the left of the hall to their lounge. Only two people were left standing in the field, a certain pink haired pyro and a blonde beauty. 

   "Will you be okay without me there with you?" He asked. "Uh huh, I think so. If not I'm sure Levy, Erza or Juvia will help me out. See ya later." i said giving Natsu a peck on the cheek and ran off to catch up with the rest of the group.

   As we entered the lounge we were in awe of a lounge so perfect, a giant flat screen T.V, leather sofas, a kitchen, and a bunch of what seemed to be changing rooms. I entered the room and saw a rack of training clothes, what caught my eye was a pink tank top and matching black and pink tights. I grabbed my desired outfit and looked at myself in the mirror covering the whole wall. My face holding a determined look. "I'm ready."

WELL THAT'S IT FOR THIS CHAPTER. WRITING THIS ON MY LAPTOP IS MAKING ME TYPE LIKE THE SPEED OF LIGHT. I FEEL LIKE I'VE GOTTEN SO MUCH FASTER. BUT THAT'S IRRELEVANT. I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS CHAPTER.
