Rosewood High: English Classroom
Alison Dilaurentis was just finishing up her last class of the day. It was AP English. '5 more minutes' she told herself as she listened to the last student read the last chapter of the book. It was one of Alison's favourite books. The Great Expectations. This book was not only her favourite because of how great the author is and the way the story is set out but it also held a special memory with a very special brunette. Emily. The girl she had been in love with since she was 14 years old. Even if she never admitted it she was head over heels in love with the doctor-to-be. Her brown hair and equally brown eyes. Her full pink lips and how she liked to be able to kiss them.
Before she could continue her thoughts she was interrupted by a loud noise. The bell to signal the end of the day. Alison was annoyed by the interruption but instead of dwelling on it she instructed her students to leave their homework on her desk and bid them a 'goodbye' as they left the classroom. She was glad it was the end of the day as she had to grade papers and then write letters to each of the girls.
3 hours later
Alison was finished grading the homework for this week as she still sat at her desk in her English classroom. Now it was time for the letters. Alison started with Spencer. Her and Spencer grew closer and closer during the 5 years and had became better friends. Next was Aria who unlike Spencer she only spoke to every other month or so since Aria was always busy with her editing job. Next Hanna. Hanna and Alison were not so close but they still kept in touch with each other. Alison knew Hanna was busy so she never tried contacting Hanna she just let Hanna contact her when she wanted a gossip or a catch-up.
'Now Emily. Sweet sweet Emily.' Alison thought. Alison was momentarily distracted as she thought about the past 5 years. Not once has Emily contacted her since she saw her drive away from her house after everything that happened with A finished. No text. No call. Emily had even gone to the extremes and blocked her on all social media. Alison was hurt by this at first but then it soon turned into anger towards the brunette. Alison quickly shook her head as she began writing. After she finished writing the letter she placed it into the envelope with Hanna's letter and Hanna's address on it as she had no address for Emily but knew that Hanna was still in contact with the brunette.
Again Alison was hurt. Hanna and Emily were always the closest in the group after herself and Emily. Alison had tried to get Hanna to tell her things about Emily but Hanna always made excuses about how she was busy and would quickly Hang up after a quick goodbye. Alison collected all four envelopes and placed them into her bag as she made a quick exit to her car stopping at the post office to mail the letters. Hopefully soon she would be seeing Emily in less than 3 days if the brunette got the letter she had sent to Hanna. Hopefully she would see the love of her life again. And maybe Emily will still be her 'mermaid' she fell in love with when she was 14.
'Only 3 days' Alison thought as she exited the post office and made her way to her house where she quickly fell asleep thinking about Emily and what was going to happen in 3 days.
