"I love someone!", she spoke with glittering eyes jumping joyfully. "Really!", he couldn't say anything more than this. He was not amazed or surprised, as he already knew that she was right at her place. An actress can never love a person like him. He knows that she is someone created by art, love & worship, and deserves someone who can be by her side every second. Who can hug her tightly when she is alone. Who can lift her up in his arms at her success. He wasn't in a grief of losing her as his love towards her was independent & secure. It had only devotion, prayers and blessings. There wasn't a single trace of obsession and anger in his eyes but only admiration, love and understanding. Thinking all this he was walking at his own pace, that he didn't notice when he left her behind. She stopped as she saw him walking forward without looking at her. She was aware of the feeling of emotions storming his heart at that moment, but was also amazed by the maturity and patience he held in his personality. "Will you marry me Major Shivraj Singh Raichand?", her words screamed cutting through the cold breeze and echoed through the valleys of Kashmir. As soon as the words hit his ears, he suddenly stopped and turned back looking at her with amazed eyes, who was standing at the other end of the bridge. "But Nandini....!" "I LOVE YOU SHIVRAJ!!!" His words were interrupted by her loud words that echoed like a music played in the mountains. She came running towards him and hugged him tightly. "Aap mujhse shaadi karenge?", she asked looking up at him with a hope in her eyes! He had never expected that the Man she was talking about was him. "Will you give me the privilege of loving you, worshipping you, waiting for your homecoming every day, writing you letters and missing you daily? Will you give me your name and let me live in my feminity? Will you let me fast for your long life on every Karva Chauth? Will you make me your Ardhangini? "Will You Marry me Shiv?"

"I'm going to spend the weekend at my mom's." I looked Kaleb in the eyes as I spoke, which was hard because I was lying. I was really going to spend the weekend with Chase at his mom's cabin in Lula. "Why?" He looks at me with big crystal blue eyes, pleading me not to go. "Because there's nothing to eat here and you and I keep fighting, I need a break." Well that wasn't a total lie. There really wasn't anything to eat and we were fighting. "What about us? We're supposed to go hungry?" He sounds a little mad now. "Not my problem." I throw back at him. It wasn't my fault I'd gotten extremely sick at my last job and had to quit but it didn't mean I had to go through with the offer me and Marie had auditioned for that day. "Fine." I walk out of our room with my bag and he slams the door behind me.

Under the Same Sky is a sweeping love story set against the sun-soaked streets of South India and the high-stakes world of the Indian Army. Ravi, a stoic soldier, and Sandhya, a fiercely loving teacher, are newlyweds learning to build a life in the spaces between duty and desire, silence and longing, heartbreak and healing. This is a tale of phone calls at odd hours, jasmine-scented letters, and promises whispered to the stars. With humor, heartbreak, and a fierce sense of place, this novel explores what it really means to love someone who's always a train ride away-and why some hearts are worth waiting for.
