"Why?" He looks at me with big crystal blue eyes, pleading me not to go. "Because there's nothing to eat here and you and I keep fighting, I need a break." Well that wasn't a total lie. There really wasn't anything to eat and we were fighting. "What about us? We're supposed to go hungry?" He sounds a little mad now. "Not my problem." I throw back at him. It wasn't my fault I'd gotten extremely sick at my last job and had to quit but it didn't mean I had to go through with the offer me and Marie had auditioned for that day. "Fine." I walk out of our room with my bag and he slams the door behind me.
