Radley hotel
Emily's POV
I walked into the Radley Hotel which used to be Radley Sanitarium. How things have changed. I take a quick scan of the area. It's become a habit now since joining the army. I have my gun in my ankle holster. I see Spencer, Aria and Hanna sat drinking drinks looking very grown up. I make my way over to them. Hanna has already noticed me but she keeps quiet. I stand behind Aria and went BOO!!. Aria jumped so high in the air. Me and Hanna started laughing and Aria was looking at me with a glare. After they get over my surprise attack. Spencer and Aria stand up and hug me. "Emily your actually here. I haven't seen you in 5 years. How are you? How's med school?" "Alright Spencer chill out. I'm okay. Med school is fine. Tiring but okay." After all that I sat next to Hanna who pulls me into a quick hug. I quickly look around looking for Alison. I really want to avoid her as much as possible.

As if Hanna can read my mind she places her hand on my shoulder and says "Alison isn't here Em. We are meeting her tonight at 6 after she has finished teaching at the highschool." "Ok. I have to see my mum at half 4. So I'll meet you at Alison's house." Hanna looks at me skeptically. I give her a smile hoping it will show that I'm telling the truth and that I'm being genuine. They all give me a nod. I sit back and listen to their stories. At 4 I left the girls and went to see my mum promising I'll see them soon at Alison's house at 6.

3rd Person
Spencer, Aria and Hanna were all sitting on Alison's couch in her living room. They all couldn't believe the change of the inside of the Old Dilaurentis house. It was all open space and modern. The outside hadn't changed but the inside had completely changed. They all thought it was beautiful, very Alison, some would say. They were all waiting for Emily to come along. Hanna knew Emily would pull this but she tried to hide her anger at Emily by smiling and sipping her drink of tea that Alison had made. Alison hadn't thought that Emily came back but Hanna had quickly assured her that she was just with her mother at the moment and she will be here within a few minutes. That was 20 minutes ago. Alison was now getting upset. She had a small frown on her face. She was just about to start talking when the doorbell went off. Alison froze. Was she ready to see her mermaid again? YES. She shot up off the couch and went to the front door. She could see through the glass the outline of Emily and started moving quicker towards the door. She placed her hand on the doorknob and started turning it. She slowly started to open the door.

Alison's POV
I slowly started to open the door. There she was. There stood Emily. My mermaid. The love of my life. Emily fields. As soon as I saw her I felt the tears welling up. 5 years. 5 years without looking into those brown eyes. She turned around to face me and she took a sharp breath. We both stood there for 2 minutes just staring at each other. The tears that started welling up in my eyes overflowed and fell down my cheeks. I let go off the door knob and ran into Emily's arms knocking her back but I didn't care. I was home. Home in her arms. Home.

Emily's POV
I finished with my mum a bit later than I thought. She had a lot of questions as she hasn't seen me since I came back for my dads funeral just a week after I went away to college. We obviously spoke on the phone but not for long since I was either training or in Afghanistan. There were tears on her part and I just held her. We had dinner and talked. It was good to be inside my childhood home. To see my mum again. My dad had passed away just after I left for college. Which was the reason I joined the army instead of staying in college. It was so painful but I got through it. Now I'm doing what he loved and hopefully I'm making him proud. 10 minutes later than expected I started making my way to Alison's.

The outside of the Dilaurentis house was exactly the same. It bought back a lot of memories. The fight I had with Alison when she named Cyrus even after she promised she wouldn't. Then the freshest memory that happened just outside this house. Saying goodbye to Alison for what I thought was the last time when I left for college. I honestly thought I would never be back here. EVER.

I made my way over to the porch and climbed the steps. I made my way to the front door and rang the doorbell. I stood in front of the door for what felt like ages but was only a couple of seconds when I heard the doorknob turn and the door slowly open. There she was. Alison. Ali. The love of my life. Wait!!! No. I gasped. My eyes were looking right into those baby blues I fell in love with. There I go again. We both just stand and stare into each other's eyes. Just as I was about to turn away because she had started to cry I felt something crash into me. Alison. She was stood with her arms wrapped around my neck sobbing into my neck. I just stood there. Just as she was about to pull away I placed my arms around her waist and hugged her back. Screw it. One moment. That's all I want then it's back to FIELDS ARMY SERGEANT.

After standing there for a few minutes I slowly started to pull away. I saw Alison pulling away to with tear stained cheeks. I placed my hand on her cheek and wiped the stray tears and smiled at her. SERGEANT FIELDS. I quickly snapped out of it and moved away. That can never happen again.

Alison's POV

When Emily moved away I felt all cold suddenly but I hid it behind a fake smile. Them few moments spent in her arms honestly felt like I could breath again. "Hey Em. Come in. Everyone's inside in the living room." "Thanks." That's all she replied with. Okay. I just took it into my stride and waited until she stepped inside to shut the door. When the door was closed I walked back to the living room and sat down on the couch in front of all the girls. I would have thought Emily would have sat on the couch next to me but nope. She sat on the arm of the couch in front of me. Right next to Hanna. Of course.
