A Real Gem (Gumi X Rin)

Hi, so at first I wasn't going to switch P.O.V but I thought about it and said 'hey why not?'. So odd numbers chapters are Gumi and even number chapters are Rin.

Oh yeah, I don't own anything.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A few days ago, A woman came in with this silver watch, The woman was beautiful and so was the watch! Her short lime green hair with goggles onto of her hair, Her lovely green eyes with a hint of curiosity in them and her face, a part from the fact her face is beautifully carve out, the shy and nervousness on her face made her look so so....

Cute.

Only one problem, she looks way older than me, now I not against age gaps but I'm 14 and She looks 23. Damn, just my luck an angel walk through here and she older than me. Megpoid-san is her name and she works at 'MEGPOID Gem collectors and cutters', either she works there or she owns it.

"Ta-da !" I smiled at the newly fixed and polished watch, now time to deliver it, see what I did there.

"Wow nice job rin, who owns it?" I look over my shoulder to see my twin brother, Len, looking at the watch, "ah, a very pretty woman, I have to deliver it to her." I looked down at the watch, I hope she'll be happy with my work...

Len put his hand on my shoulder, "don't worry, she'll love it, I know it and I'll tell mam you've gone on a delivery" he winked and ran to tell mam, I grinned "thanks Len ! Best twin ever !", I grabbed my bag and place the watch in the bag and set off .

"Can I help you young lady ?" I look at the taller dark green hair, who very displeased, what wrong with him ? "Ah yes, I have a delivery to make to Miss Megpoid-san." I calmly stated, he must be Megpoid-san's older brother or something. He looked at me with a questioning look, but sigh and pointed over his shoulder, "Megpoid-san is in her office, just up the stairs."

I smile and jogged past him before, turning to say 'thanks' and keep moving forward, So, Megpoid-san runs this place!? I turn my head and look in both directions, even though the stairs are at my left, Megpoid-san is at my right, sitting down next to a machine.

I carefully moved until, I was in hug range. "Working hard Megpoid-san?" I asked, She jumped and look at me, I could help but giggle, she looked like she did a accident in her pants. "Did you have to scare me ?" She sigh, while went to off the machine. "Mmmmh, yep ! Keep you on your toes, you know?" I grinned, I meant no harm.

She smile a little and pull out a stool, I sat down lean on the table, "so, you own this place huh ?" I asked absent minded, she gave me a funny look, "no, I don't.....who told you that?", I'm confused, "but your brother told me to go to the office to find you.." I look at Megpoid-san, She gone all red in the face and she scratches her right ear.

"Um, no grandmother and grandfather runs this place, I have no brother so, you must be talking about my Dad..... Um how old do you think am I ?" I can feel the blood rushes to my head, Her brother is her Dad!?

"Around in your 20, maybe...23 ?" I state and she bursts out laughing, I feel my face go redder, "Haha, no I'm, hahaha only 17 !" I looked at her, "YOU'RE ONLY 3 YEARS OLDER THAN ME!?", I'm in deep shock and Megpoid-san is laughing so hard, tears are falling.

"GUMI ! WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT!? DON'T MAKE ME COME BACK THERE OR ELSE!!!", Her Dad shouted from the counter, Megpoid-san stops immediately, jeez that guy is scary, "yeah sorry Dad" Megpoid-san replies and looks down, she still scratching her ear.

I remembered what about the watch and decided to put it out, "here, It's perfectly working order a-and I polished it up, free of charge" I'm so nervous, that I close my eyes and tried my best to smile and I feel to long arm warp around my body....

Megpoid-san is hug me and I'm hugging her back !

"Thanks" She whispered into my ear, I blush and put her closer to whispered back, "no problem, Megpoid-san.". After this we chatted, well I talk on and on and Megpoid-san just nodded once in a while, sometimes saying a few things and a lot of times zoning out for no reason! She listening one second and the next complete zone out ! Weird.

We did this for a solid minute or two, while still hugging, "oh Gumi, am I interfering with something ?" an calm old voice asked. I turn to look at the older lady, her pale green hair and just one or two winks stuck out to me and the fact she look exactly like Megpoid-san.

"Ah, no Grandmother, this Kagamine Rin, She the one who fix the watch and she deliver it, free of charge", Megpoid-san said while letting me go and I did the same. Three things stuck out to me, one Gumi said I fixed the watch, which I did, but I never told her that, two Megpoid-san must have sent to get the watch fixed and three I never said delivery was free, just polishing was !!

"Oh the watch looks perfect ! Well, our secret mission was success, good work everyone!", I looked at Megpoid-san as she smiled, " 'secret mission' eh ? Well then, if I knew that I would've gone through the back." I joked and both them look at me with questioning faces, "ah, I'm kidding!", I said defensively.

No one seems to answer, even Megpoid-san's grandmother doesn't want to, in fact she walking away! "Hey! Hold on a minute, what about Megpoid-san reward ? Don't tell me a 'pat on a back is all she needs' because that a load of bull-" Megpoid-san decided interrupted my shout by stomping on my toes hard. I give her my 'that hurts' look at her but, I stopped because of Megpoid-san's looked she gave me, She looked so scared, what is going on here ?

"Oh course ! I so forgetful, Gumi dear have the day off and bring your friend to a nice restaurant or something.", My jaw dropped and so did Megpoid-san, yeah you think we're so dumb to believe you forgot ? Yeah right.

Megpoid-san slowly walked over to the elder woman they exchanged the watch for a lot of money, then Megpoid-san grabbed her coat and my hand, then drag me out of the building, we passed Megpoid-san's Dad, as he gave questioning look.....

I don't think I help by waving bye.

Outside, has gotten very cold, I shivering but I ignored it, "look, I'm sorry about this, I just thought it was unfair of her, to do that to you" I said while shivering, I only have a orange hoddie on. Megpoid-san slowly looked over at Me, "I'm not mad at you, just that.... this my first time ever being r-rewarded" she said painfully suddenly, she puts her hand on her mouth and started to cry.

Oh no, think Rin think !

"Hey do you like um shopping?" I asked nervously, I freezing here and she upset, as the Mam puts it ' kill two birds with one stone!'.

"Yeah, s-s-sometimes" was she quiet answer, I tried to grin but I don't think it was a grin, more like a toothy smile,"then let's on shopping, eat and have a great time, it can be like a friend date, get to know each other, don't cry, let's go enjoy your reward ?" I tried my best to hold grin.

Megpoid-san looks down, she wipes tears with her coat sleeve, "yeah, let's go on our 'friend date', Kagamine-san" she smiles back at me and I nodded.

"Yeah, let's go".

Alright, there we go, so next chapter Gumi will tell us how there 'friend date's went until then, please tell me if there are any mistakes I miss, if I should anything, that's going going, bad or to update.
