That night everything happened too fast. Next thing he knew he was being put into handcuffs...
For the longest time now, Wes Cremer's life has been anything but easy. His entire world was flipped at sixteen. His mind fully present to that very day.
Mickie Moreno is moving from one side of the country to the other. Her only worries being whether she'll get stressed out her final year in high school.
It's a new school year so it would seem simple to start again, but it's easier said than done.
Wes returns to school finding out that he's the one everyone is talking about. Nobody believes his innocence.
It was his fault. He's the outsider.
Mickie, on the other hand, is willing to make the best of it as the new girl.
Brand new school and new friends.
Wes acts tough and stubborn to hide away any emotions. He doesn't want to show any feelings of any sorts so nobody pushes his buttons. But deep inside he's a soft teddy-bear and all it takes is someone to peel back a couple of layers.
She never planned to change his life and he didn't think it was possible.
It took Mickie and constant car rides, bickering, and a couple of letters for the moon and stars to test their trust.

• the story will be switching back & forth between two point-of-views (POV). you'll notice at the beginning of every chapter that the name will be bolded with brackets to indicate the persons point-of-view, if that makes sense.

• nothing real big, but will have cussing throughout so don't be alarmed, if that's a problem for anyone.
• it is total coincidence if any of the locations described in my story from here on out are real. I based most locations, stores, restaurants, etc., on my imagination and some on real life. so please don't hate for not accurately making sense.
• procrastination. certainly (and possibly) a great lack of posting. I'm a huge procrastinator, I'm not proud, but it's true. I will try my hardest to put up chapters frequently but most of the time it'll just be when I feel like it, sorry to come off as rude
