Chapter 34

For the past three days, I had been balling my eyes out. My baby had been in critical condition and doctors were questioning if he was even gonna make it. I knew I loved Jose if I shed a tear for him. But who wouldn't? The day that was supposed to be the happiest day of your life turned out to be the worst and the person who you were supposed to spend the rest of your life with was hurting and possibly going to die. NO he couldn't die, Jose was too strong. I'm just so happy that my mother was able to grab my brother, sister, and son before they were injured. I would blame myself if something were to happen to them. It was hard though trying to explain to a 2 year old that his dad was shot and wasn't going to be home anytime soon. I tried to visit when I could.

It took no more than a few hours for the police to catch the guy that shot my fiancé. I just couldn't believe he did this. No one knew who he was though and why he would target us. He didn't even give the police an explanation besides saying "He thought it would be fun".

I wasn't a detective, but I was pretty sure that people don't just go to a specific wedding and shoot the groom. They might go to a public place, or they might shoot some audience members, but the groom was kind of suspicious. So I did some research of my own. I started on Facebook and searched George Miller. There were a lot of people that came up on this search, but he was the very first one. I remembered his picture from the news. Apparently he murdered 3 of his wives before he shot Jose. Which led me to believe even more that someone knew he was a killer and sent him as a hitman. I just needed to know who.

I opened up his page and noticed that his status said in a relationship. Hmm that was interesting. I couldnt believe I was this smart to think of all of this. I scrolled down his time line and I came across a picture of him and a girl kissing. I couldnt really see much of her in the picture, but I could tell that she had red hair. It was the same signature Auburn color that Amber had. Except Amber was married to Nathan, so it couldn't be her. I scrolled down to another picture and there was a girl sitting on his lap. Not just any girl though, it was....

Sasha

Out of all the people he could have dated, it had to be her. You couldn't really see her that clearly in the picture so I had to make sure. I clicked on the picture to see that he had tagged someone.

Sasha Layfield

Yes it was indeed her. I knew it! It was Amber all along. She wanted her revenge for what I did to them in high school. She had already won so why did she feel the need to hurt me even more. First she ruins my engagement party and then my wedding. I knew it couldn't have been Sasha because I no longer had Nathan so there was nothing for her to get revenge on. Amber used her cousin's boyfriend on me to injure and put my family in danger. She had taken it too far and I was getting my revenge. Nobody messes with Tasha and wins. No I was THE winner.

For my revenge on Amber I decided to start off with something small. I wasn't going to turn her into the police because I figured I could do worse things to her than let her sit in a jail cell with a husband at home. No she needed to suffer like I have everyday since the shooting.

I couldn't really think of what to do at first, but then I thought the main part of a relationship is honesty. Since they obviously (ayee big words) didn't get over the events in high school, I was going to bring something back. Bring back a HUGE lie that Amber told. I wrote it on a piece of paper and I drove and put it in their mailbox just like I did with the engagement party invitation. I just hoped that Nathan was the one that opened up my little surprise.

Amber's P.O.V

I still couldn't believe what happened at Tasha's wedding the other day. I was just glad that they found the guy. It was kind of obvious that he wasn't trying to shoot Jose though because he kind of hesitated. It all happened so fast and me and Nathan didn't even have time to run. The guy reassured us that he wasn't going to shoot us though and came to fulfill a "mission" whatever that meant. It was scary though, putting my unborn child in danger. Oh well I couldnt think of it too much otherwise, I would get stressed out.
