Ch 15: You Remind Me

This time Stiles tried his best to ignore Lydia all day. Every time she attempted to talk to him, he completely
ignored her existence. He knew what she wanted to talk about, but he just wasn't ready. He didn't wanna talk about the magical kiss they shared or Heather right now.

He didn't know it, but he was breaking Lydia's heart. Lydia just simply wanted to tell him that she thinks she has feelings for him.

Lydia was grabbing some books from her locker when she heard footsteps come up to her. "I knew it." Allison said. "You like Stiles don't you?" Kira asked. Lydia rolled her eyes and closed her locker. "It's just a little crush guys. I'm pretty sure he doesn't even feel the same way." Lydia said leaning against her locker. They all looked at her with an are you kidding me face.

"Are you serious? Have you seen the way he looks at you when you're not looking?" Malia asked. Lydia looked down at the floor and blushed. "Scott owes me twenty bucks." Allison said. "So what happened?" Kira asked. Lydia sighed when she thought about last nights events. "We went to this terrible diner and shared a milkshake." Lydia said. They all awed and waved their hands around.

"And then he began freaking out when he saw some girl that worked there named Heather and then..." She trailed off not wanting to finish the rest. They were all impatiently waiting for her to continue. "And then what?!" Malia practically shouted. "And then we... Stiles and I kissed." Lydia said. The girls were all shocked and then began squealing and jumping up and down.

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god I can't believe Stydia is canon!" Kira said as she clapped her hands and jumped. Lydia furrowed her brows. "What the hell is stydia?" She asked. "Oh that's you and Stiles' ship name." Allison said. Lydia wanted to ask more about where that name came from, but right now she just wanted to go home and sleep her problems away.

"Don't get too excited I only kissed him because he was having a panic attack, and I couldn't think of any other method that could make him hold his breath." Lydia explained. They all stopped fangirling and looked at her with a disappointed face. "Are you fucking kidding me right now?" Malia asked. Lydia shrugged. "You realize there are multiple ways to stop a panic attack, and you chose to kiss Stiles instead of using normal remedies." Allison said. Lydia took a deep breath. "I don't want to talk about this right now. I'll see you guys at lunch." Lydia walked away from her friends and to the closest bathroom to hide.

Allison texted Scott when Lydia left. "You owe me twenty bucks bitch."

Stiles was currently texting Scott about what happened on the not date.
SS: I saw Heather at the diner I took Lydia to!
SM: seriously?! Did she speak to you?!
SS: yeah but I didn't say anything. She introduced herself to Lydia though.
SM: oh man that must've been hella awkward to see your ex and your new girlfriend in the same room.
SS: she is not my girlfriend Scott we've been over this.
SM: whatever man just tell me what happened after
SS: I had a panic attack when I saw her so Lydia and I went back to the car. Lydia tried to calm me down and she kissed me and it actually worked.
SM: ...
SS: what's up with the dots?
SM: Yo Lydia likes you dude.
SS: what're you talking about McCall?
SM: there are a million ways to stop a panic attack and kissing is one of the last things people do to help stop a panic attack.
SS: doesn't mean she likes me though besides I've been avoiding her.
SM: what Heather did to you shouldn't stop you from happiness Stiles.
