A week later
Stiles and Lydia both didn't speak to anyone one about Stiles getting arrested. Even Lydia wasn't bitchy enough to tattle on someone she really hated at the moment.
Just as Stiles said he would do, he pretended almost as if Lydia Martin was never a major part of his life. She was just another face in a sea of students at Beacon Hills nothing less nothing more. Even thought the feud was between Stiles and Lydia, it effected everybody else.
Allison and Scott spent less time with each other because they were too busy comforting their friends whenever they had a breakdown. It's been a whole week of straight of pain and heartbreak for Lydia and Stiles.
Lydia didn't understand why she was crying this hard about a stupid boy. The last time she cried this hard was probably when she watched the ending scene of The Notebook three times in a row. She tried to get over him by saying things like he's not worth my time, he doesn't love you get over it, or there's plenty of fish in the sea. But that's the problem. She didn't want any other fish in the sea.
She wanted Stiles.
He was like the virus that wouldn't go away, or that one annoying pimple that refuses to pop. Lydia has never felt a feeling his strong for anyone in her entire life. It was this painful stinging gushy feeling in her chest that just wouldn't leave her alone to prosper. She thought something was actually wrong with her, so she called over Kira for help since she's good with medicine.
When Kira came, they both went upstairs to her room."So what we're you're symptoms again?" Kira asked as she was typing on her laptop. Lydia was currently lying on her bed like a sick patient. "I have this painful stinging in my chest that has been their for about a month or two now and it won't go away for some reason." Lydia said. Kira scrunched up her nose. "I need more information then that." Kira said. Lydia tapped her chin thinking me about how to describe how she feels.
"This feeling is painful, but I like it at the same time. Kind of like a sadist. I've never had this feeling before in my life and I don't know how to cure it." Lydia said. Kira thought about what she was saying and smiled at her.
"Lydia you said you've been feeling this way for about a month or two right?" Kira asked. Lydia nodded yes. Kira puffed air from her nose in amusement. "You met Stiles about a month or two ago right?" Kira asked. Lydia grimaced when she heard his name again. "What's that gotta do with anything?" Lydia asked. "Just answer the question." Kira said. "Yeah." Lydia answered. Kira closed her laptop and smirked.
"I found out what's wrong with you Lydia." Kira said. Lydia sat up on her bed and smiled. "Oh really? Please tell me it's curable and not contagious." Lydia said. Kira laughed at her. "No no it's not contagious." Kira said. "Then what's wrong with me?" Lydia asked. Kira put her hands on her shoulders and looked her deep in her eyes.
"Lydia you're in love." Kira said. Lydia's eyes almost popped out of her head. She turned a rosy red. She shook her hands off her shoulders. "What? Love can't make you feel sick can it?" She asked. Kira nodded. "You're literally lovesick Lydia. It happens to a lot of people across the world every day. Especially after heartbreak." Kira said. Lydia frowned. No wonder she didn't understand her sickness.
"There isn't a cure for it is there?" Lydia asked. Kira nodded side to side. "No, love is the only ailment that a human can not seem to get rid of easily." Kira said. Lydia sighed and rubbed her face with her hands. Kira patted her back for support. "It's okay to be in love Lydia." Kira said. "I know I know but why him? Why not some normal guy like Scott or something?" Lydia asked. Kira shrugged.
"Love works in weird ways, and you tend to fall in love with people you never thought would even bat an eye at you. In the words of Def Leppard, love bites and love bleeds." Kira said. "Thanks Kira you're a really good friend." Lydia said. "Welcome. Hey a good way to get your mind off of him is to finish up that English paper for the favorite movie scene." Kira suggested. "Oh yeah I forgot about that, and you know what? I think I have a motivation now." Lydia said. Kira smiled at her.
