As Chris and I raced back home, he skidded to a stop at the edge of the woods right before we reached his house. I stopped too and looked at him in confusion.

I need to show you how to phase back for the first time. He said.

Will it hurt? I asked nervously. He chuckled and shook his head.

Not this time. He said. I sighed in relief and he walked towards me. I saw his form shimmer and then suddenly he was standing over me in his human form. I backed away a little, startled. I saw him crouch down so we were eye to eye, and then I felt his warm hands on either side of my face.

"Relax." He ordered. I obeyed his command and I watched as his brown eyes began to glow orange. As soon as they were fully orange, I felt my body jerk and then I whined as I felt myself stand on my hind legs. Before I could process what was happening I was human again. I looked down at my body and then back up at Chris. He was smirking.

"Amazing, right?" He asked happily. I nodded and he took my hand in his.

"Come inside and I'll show you something more amazing." He offered. I eagerly followed him inside the house and then he led us upstairs to the bedroom. He shut the door behind us and then sat on the edge of the bed, pulling me down onto his lap.

"Kiss me." He mumbled.

"That's what you wanted to show me?" I joked. He just shook his head and smiled.

"Kiss me, you'll see what happens." He assured me. I shrugged and leaned down, pressing my lips to his. A gasp left my lips as a small fire exploded within me, causing me to kiss him deeply. His hands grabbed at my waist, but I wanted him to hold me tighter. This was amazing. I never knew I could feel this way. My body was yearning for him more than it had ever wanted him before in my life. Our tongues tangled together as I deepened the kiss, and between our rough and passionate kisses I heard Chris whisper in my ear.

"This is how I felt when I first kissed you." He said softly.

"Why?" I asked breathlessly, never slowing down our kisses. I felt his hands on either side of my face as his fingers tangled in my hair and pulled me even closer.

"It's your wolf." He whispered. When he mentioned it, I could feel it stirring inside me. My wolf was there, waiting to take over when I willed it to. But it was also urging me to kiss Chris, and I let part of it take over as it guided my body into doing what it wanted. I laid Chris back on the bed as I straddled him and continued to kiss him. He groaned loudly and then rolled us over so that now he was the one hovering on top. My hands slipped his shirt off and explored the muscles on his chest. I felt his lips leave mine and instead attach themselves to my neck. He sucked and bit my neck, and even though his teeth were sharper than a regular human, I still found myself moaning. It felt good to me. His hands explored my body and I felt my shirt being torn off rather than slipped over my head. I bit his lip in shock, drawing blood, but he didn't seem to care. I fumbled with his belt, finally getting it off and pulling his pants down along with it. The rest of our clothing was eventually torn away and I kissed him feverishly now, more hungrily than before. I was disappointed when he broke the kiss, pushing away slightly.

"What's wrong?" I asked worriedly. He shook his head and got up, going over to his dresser and opening the top drawer. He turned back to gave me as he situated a condom around himself, and I raised an eyebrow in confusion. He saw my expression and then smiled.

"You didn't use one before." I stated.

"I didn't have to. Now I do. I'll explain later." He mumbled. He returned to the bed and pressed his lips to mine again, and I felt his hands grab my waist as he positioned himself over me. There was no warning as his teeth sunk into my neck and he slid himself into me. I gasped aloud in shock and dug my nails into his back, only causing him to increase his pace. All of this felt more powerful than before, and I craved his body more than I ever had in the past. His lips trailed over every part of me that he could reach as we continued to make love on his bed. His strong hips thrusted into mine and I could feel his rapid breaths against my neck as he kissed it softly. When I felt myself reaching my peak I grabbed his face and pulled it to mine, our tongues intertwining as his body shuddered and he let out a loud groan. I felt my stomach tighten as we came together, and he kissed my lips one more time before he wrapped his arms around me.

"I love you." He whispered.

"I love you too." I said, breathing heavily as my heart continued to race in my chest. I was amazed by what had just happened, and I realized that being with Chris like this was better than being with him as a human. I couldn't feel any of these things as a human, but now I could.

Chris and I laid together until both of our heart rates slowed, and then I felt his arms unwind from me.

"I think we should show the rest of the pack." He whispered.

"Show them that I'm like you?" I questioned nervously. He just nodded as his fingers combed through my hair. I sighed and he rolled out of bed. Both of us got dressed and he took my hand as he smiled at me reassuringly. He led us outside and before we walked to the woods, he sighed.

"What?" I asked curiously.

"While you were... Out... I stayed with you the whole time. David and the rest of the pack told me to come with them to pick out new members of the pack, but I told them I wouldn't leave you." He announced.

"So...?" I asked, still confused.

"They picked them without me, but only I can bite them. Right now they're sorta imprisoned..." He admitted.

"What? Why?" I asked, feeling guilty even though I wasn't the one that had imprisoned them.

"So they don't run away." Chris said with a shrug.

"Well where are they?" I asked wildly.

"At David's house. The rest of the pack is there too." Chris announced. I nodded and then took a step towards the woods, looking back to see that Chris was already in his wolf form.

I'll race you. His voice said in my head. I smirked and then shifted into my wolf form as we sprinted into the forest.

Chris POV

I loved running with Miranda, mostly because I loved staring at her in wolf form. She was absolutely beautiful, her midnight black fur appearing lighter in the sun that streamed through the trees. I was tempted to just tackle her and phase back to human as we made love on the forest floor. I shook the thought away when I saw that she was beating me, and I pushed myself faster so that we were flying through the woods together. My fur brushed against hers and I felt at peace like this. I could run like this forever, as long as she was by my side. I loved her even more than I had when she was human, and I never even thought that was possible.

When we arrived at David's house, I walked out of the woods with Miranda at my side. David was sitting by the side of his house with the rest of my pack, and I saw two other boys knocked out beside them, laying motionless on the ground. As soon as David spotted me, he stood up, but then his eyes landed on Miranda.

"Is that Miranda?" He asked in a shocked tone. I nodded and I felt her press her body into mine in nervousness. I nudged her forward and she stepped in front of me so that my pack could see her. I stood on my hind legs as I phased back to human, and then I cleared my throat.

"We don't have to worry about Adam anymore since Miranda is truly one of us. The only thing we have to worry about him doing is attacking us out of jealousy from Miranda's transformation, but I'm sure that won't happen since his pack will most likely be able to convince him not to do it. We should be safe." I said, catching the eye of every single person in the clearing. They all nodded and then I looked down at the boys on the ground. Their mouth's were gagged and their hands were tied behind their backs.

"They should be awake soon unless you plan on biting them." David alerted me. I nodded and walked over to them, slowly examining their faces.

"They look strong. Good enough to fight..." I commented.

"Both of them are cocky as hell though. That's the only problem." David interrupted me.

"Then I guess I'll have to break them of that." I said with a shrug. I knew I had to bite them, but I didn't want Miranda to see me do it. I didn't know why, but I just wanted her to be out of the picture for this.

"Miranda, go with David." I ordered. Her head cocked to the side in confusion, and I heard her voice in my mind.

"But-"

"Go!" I ordered, using my alpha tone. She whimpered and ran around the side of the house as David followed close behind her.

"What are their names?" I grumbled as I walked over to the two boys.

"Mark and Jordan." Another member of my pack answered quickly. I nodded and crouched down, preparing to take away two innocent people's lives. They hadn't chosen this, but now they would be stuck with it for as long as they lived. I felt horrible for doing this.

MIRANDA POV

When Chris had used that tone of voice with me, I felt like I couldn't disobey. My legs had automatically carried me around the house and out of sight of what he was doing. When I reached the front of the house I phased back to human (something that came easily to me now) and sat on the steps. I sighed and shook my head, trying to shake away the memory of the powerful voice Chris had used.

"Hey, what's wrong?" David asked as he sat down next to me.

"What just happened?" I asked nervously.

"Chris used his alpha voice. Don't worry, it happens to the rest of us all the time. He'll probably rarely do it to you since he knows it scares the living hell out of all of us." David explained.

"I-I think this is the third time he's used it on me." I mumbled, folding my hands and staring down at them.

"When were the other two times?" David asked curiously.

"The first time was when he first kidnapped me and ordered me to stay on the couch when he took the rest of the pack upstairs. The second time was when I wasn't tired but he ordered me to go to sleep anyway, and I did." I explained.

"Well he had very good reasons for both of those, he was protecting you from knowing his secret, which was a good idea at the time." David announced. I shrugged and then snapped my head up when I saw Chris walk around the side of the house. He wiped blood from his chin and my face paled.

"Is it done?" David asked nonchalantly, like this happened every day.

"Yeah, they'll come around soon. About three days unless they're weak." Chris mumbled, walking up to me and taking my hand in his. David nodded and went into the backyard while Chris and I were left alone.

"I'm sorry for forcing you to do that." Chris said as his hand squeezed mine gently.

"It's okay." I said with a shrug.

"You can do it too you know." He said suddenly, breaking me out of my thoughts.

"W-what? How?" I asked, confused.

"You're the pack's Luna. You're in charge of them just as much as I am. You can order them around and they have to obey. The only person you can't order around is me." He said boldly, smirking at the last part.

"Is that so?" I asked, raising my eyebrow teasingly. He nodded and I turned so that I was fully facing him.

"I bet I could tell you what to do if I wanted to." I said softly.

"Depends on what it is." He mumbled.

"If I told you to take your clothes off-"

"I'd do it." He said suddenly, cutting me off.

"But if I told you to stay away from me-"

"I couldn't do that." He said, shaking his head. Suddenly, worry flooded through me. If he told me to stay away from him, I would have to do it. I'd have no choice if he used that voice that he used with the other pack members...

"But I wouldn't tell you to do that either." He interrupted, almost as if he had read my mind. I just nodded and then I looked up at him.

"Hey, so now that we don't have to worry about Adam as much, do you wanna go back to your house and get your clothes and all that? You can even leave a note for your mom if you want." Chris suggested. I nodded and smiled.

"Yeah, now she finally won't have to worry about me." I said, happy now. I didn't want my mom to worry about me any more than she already had. I was going to write a note to her, but I knew I could never officially go back home. I was too used to being around Chris. Without him I wouldn't be able to function.
