~ So the picture is how I envision Trent to look like. For each chapter I will have a video of someone singing. The video will either be a cover or a live performance. Sometimes the song will relate to the chapter, most of the time it won't. But anyways, I don't plan on making the chapters as long as the first one, but that means the story as a whole will be lengthier. Sorry for making this message long as hell. And now, on with the show.

• Trent's P.O.V. •

The following day I enter the school unhappy with just having to be here. I don't understand what's the point of many of our classes. Like I wanna learn how to be more social, what needs to be done to pay taxes, things that are actually helping me in the future. Hmm maybe I'm just being ignorant. Oh well.

All of a sudden I feel a body shoulder me into the lockers. I'm unsure of which side to look, whether to apologize to the poor lockers that I've slammed into or to apologize to the body that caused this whole scandal. I chose to do the ladder.

"Oh, I'm sorry about that, I was probably in yo-" I stop what would be me rambling to come to realization that the person who ran into me was Courtney. Brown haired, brown eyes full of determination. Determination that is showing that she's ready to numb me into the lockers again.

"Trent, why in the hell do you think it's a great idea to just randomly stop in the middle of a hallway?! Next time I won't be so easy on you, or it might be someone else who bumps you." I stare at her blankly and simply nod my head in confirmation. As I'm about to reply someone beats me to it.

"Aw princess, don't get your thong all bunched up. You could have easily walked around the guy." Duncan chuckles and appears from behind the Tasmanian devil. "His own thoughts would eventually have caused for him to crash into a wall anyways."

I glare at the talking toad and Courtney crosses her arms over her chest and simply side eyes Duncan. "Whatever, just watch when you decide to stop walking Trent." As she starts walking off, I notice a slight blush appear on her face.

Shall I try to investigate this weird phenomenon or shall I ignore it? I mean Courtney is an overall stuck up. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against her but she's so uptight and this seems interesting. I suddenly feel a smack on the back of my head and heavy laugh.

"Hey, I'm still here. Damn you're such a concentrated person aren't you?" Duncan chuckled at the end of telling me that and I could only respond with a cold look. He put his hands up in a defeated manner and starts to walking away with a gleeful smirk.

I begin to walk again towards my locker and then realize that I should have asked Duncan why it is that he left early from Leshawna's house. Like it was extremely early. He didn't even get to eat. But why am I questioning this? It's not like I even wanted Duncan there. Why did he even want to hang out with us? He has his set of friends who he hangs out with. He's just annoying.

I go to my first class and take my seat, then come to realize that I didn't even go to my locker. I place my head on my desk and groan in frustration. I need to stop thinking sometimes. I raise my head up and check the clock. There's like some minutes left until class starts, I don't know how to read clocks so whatever.

"Hey Trent." I turn my head to see Cody sitting to the left of me. I tilt my head in confusion and my expression appears to register to him because he smiles slightly.

"Yea I know we don't ever talk, but I was thinking why not start now." I stare at him weary. "Well actually, I'm here to ask why it is you were talking to Gwen?"

I blink a couple of times then I begin to smile widely. "Oh well I was inviting her to hang out Lashawna and I after school. She agreed to it and so we hung out." I smile at him and see that the small smile he had got even smaller.

"Oh okay. Well just so you know you better not mess around with her. That's my girlfriend. And if I find out that you're pulling anything then you and I will have major problems."

I look at him for what feels like a millennium and then start to laugh. This boy, who appears to have such a baby face and doesn't have the physical features to harm an ant, is over here threatening me. Me?! Over Gwen! And did he say 'his girlfriend'?! Oh this whole situation is just amusing me. Cody slowly seems to become uncomfortable and I start to ease him with laughter.

"Listen Cody, I wouldn't do that to Gwen. She's an amazing person. And  I'm sorry, but if I did have malicious intentions, you don't really come off as dangerous or fearful." He seems to pout with my response and it's kind of cute.

"I know, but still. Just don't do anything." He gets up and just walks away to his original seat. Soon after the bell rings and class starts.

Later that day I'm in math class with Lashawna where I catch her up with what happened yesterday with Gwen in her kitchen and what happened in the morning with Cody. The best part of telling Leshawna is the facial expressions she has as I inform her of this roller coaster of information.

"Suga, should I have a talk with Cody?" I choke back a laugh to her response and shake my head no.

"No, trust me. I'm not worried and I doubt there's rarely any truth behind him being her boyfriend." I start to doodle Gwen's name and Leshawna nods her head in confirmation.

The bell soon rings and we head our separate ways and I make my way towards P.E. As I make my way I try to find Gwen, but to my disappointment I can't find her. And you'd think you could spot a punk girl in a crowd of people who seem like they're a mixture of people going to either Coachella, the beach, or a red carpet. I get ready then I sit down ready for the teacher. That's when I see her step of the girl's locker room, her clothing making her blend in with the rest of us. I begin to sway back and forth, smiling like the toad I am. She glances over and smiles slightly. My smile grows to a full blown gleam of my broadcasting my teeth for her. Our teacher puts us to just run today. Hell yea I'm going to run. Run to Gwen.

"Hey! How's it going?" I try to walk in a cool manner next to her since it appears that Gwen isn't much of a runner.

"It's going good, but you need to calm down. You're doing too much, even though it is cute." I smile and respond," Not as cute as you." She response with a bland look then blushes slightly.

We continue our walk with just random conversation. Our likes and dislikes, music taste, our annoyance with teachers. This continues until our class is over and I feel that this is going to be an amazing rest of the year for me.

Hopefully the few readers I have like what's going on so far. Sorry if this appears boring ;-; if you wanna give suggestions as to what should happen feel free to give any. I already have my ideas but I'm open to anything cx. Love y'all.
