Chapter 17 sparks

Clary's pov

Seb walked in like a storm. I've never seen him like this except in visions from his pass.

"Seb all of us men are going hunting tonight you're coming right?" Alex asked causing me and Chun cho to chuckle.

"Looks like your staying with the girls then since your not a man." Chun cho said making me laugh from the look Alex gave him. I tried to suppress the urge to aww at how cute Alex looked.

"Of course I am. Alex I think you should stay and take care of the girls. They need a man to protect them." Seb said earning death glares from Charlotte and Maria and a smack from me.

"We can handle ourselves darling." Maria said pinching his cheeks as she got up from the table.

"Ya and plus we'll have Clary and she's the best there is." Charlotte hugged me on her way out of the dinning room. The room grew quiet for a few seconds till ...

"Fine then. Chun cho, Seb, and ... Alex meet me at the front gate in an hour. We got a call earlier about some ley line disturbance from you know who." Seb, Chun cho, and I all groaned. "Don't be brats." Jose warned us as he left with Maria. The rest of our family followed shortly. Chun cho and Alex to get ready. Seb and I with the excuse that we need to get the boys ready for bed. In truth we just need to be alone of a bit. I though Seb would have brought up the issue with Jace but he hadn't. All through giving the boys a bath and dressing them in their pj's nothing. I was starting to think he wouldn't bring it up as the boys fell asleep on the bed and I was looking a him lacing up his boots in my white nightgown.

"I hate that he thinks he can win you back." He sighed out rubbing his face.

"You know he can't. I only want you." I now stood between his thighs. His head rested against my stomach as I ran my fingers through his perfect locks. "You already know why I ended up in Mexico. It wasn't because I though it was the best place to hid from them. It was because I needed to be with you. You are the light in my eyes. The power behind every swipe of my sword and punch of my hand. You saved me Seb." We were nose to nose by then. Eyes locked on each others. "He is my past. You are my future and present. I love you. Your the man I want standing at the end of the isle. The man who is forever a piece of me. Your the father to my angels and that is something I want to thank you for everyday. Your the person who made me become the best because all I want in life is to be able to protect you and our boys."

"And our girl." He smiled putting his hand where his daughter lay.

"And our girl." I kissed him. It started off slow but then he wrapped his muscular arms around me and pushed his tounge into my mouth. Next thing I know I'm straddling his hips. I giggle pulling away or atleast trying to but he keeps stealing kisses. "Now go check out the lines and come back to us."
"Ok even though it'll be terrible. I love you." He stole another kiss.
"I love you most." I wanted to hold him a little bit longer. Something inside me was screaming not to let him go as he walked out. I laid awake for awhile till i sickly sweet scent filled the room. I couldn't help but fall under its spell and go to sleep. Un aware to the horror that awaited me.
