For the rest of the week, I continued the stay in solitude except for Louis' continual texts, 2 calls from Harry, and 1 Skype call from Niall, which I swear was just a pleasant accident.

On Saturday, the last day of the boys' vacation break, I woke up early to a familiar tapping. I smiled, jumped out of bed, and let Louis in. "Thanks Love; it's freezing out there." "Why can't you just use the door?" I asked, giggling, "Harry isn't here, and even if he was, he knows about us..." "Harry's not here?" Louis repeated, "Where is he?" I shrugged, "Probably with Mom, or Gemma... He was told to spend time with his family, and that's what he's doing..." "But what about you?" he asked, "You're his twin sister; you're more family than anything." I looked down, "You'd think so, wouldn't you..."

I sighed, and crawled into my bed. Louis took his boots and coat off, before following me in, "We're not gonna... You know, right?" I nodded, "No. I just want to finish my sleep."

He smiled, relieved and I laid my head on my pillow, facing him, "You know... I'm starting to question whether or not I really exist. I mean, how else could I have vanished off the face of the planet, and not one person ask about me? Sure, I was the shy twin, but for the most part, Harry and I did everything together." I sighed," I guess it was because the year I disappeared, was the year I had no friends, no job, no life... And now, I'll never have any of those things again..."

A tear escaped my eye, but Louis caught it before it hit my pillow, "Oh, Sky... You are real. Just as real as Harry or I... just only a handful of special people get to meet you... And I'm so lucky to be one of them…” “Same could be said about you…” I mumbled, cuddling into his sweater. I could hear his heart beating, lulling me to return to my dreams. I had never been so close to someone before. I had been single my whole life, thanks to being shy, and awkward most of my life. It was nice to have Louis with me, even if it was just until I fell asleep.

When I woke up, my bed was empty again. I sat up and looked around the room. Everything was as it was last night. Like I was never visited earlier by Louis. I frowned; I must have dreamed about him.

I threw the sheets off myself, slid on my slippers, and walked downstairs, trying to come to grasp with what was real. I followed the sound of someone talking on the TV, and I hear familiar laugher. I walked into the living room, and met the blue eyes of my boyfriend.

“Louis…” I called, running over to him, and sitting on his lap. “Yeah…” he said, “Who else would I be?” “When I woke up this morning, You, your boots and your coat were all gone…” I said, “I thought I had just imagined you…” Louis frowned, “Aw, Sky… You thought you dreamed about all those things I told you?” “It wouldn’t be the first time…” I mumbled into his sweater, “I dream about Harry, or Mom, or you, telling me that all the time, because everyone is either too busy or don’t care enough to actually do that…” “I do…” Louis said, cupping my face, “I’ll tell you every chance I have.”

He pulled me in, and our lips finally touched. It was magical; his thumbs rubbed my cheeks as I placed my hands on his. He was so gentle, like he was afraid he would hurt me.

We pulled away, and I smiled, “That was so worth waiting for…”
