I slept in late, because I had nothing better to do. After my shower, I walked into my kitchen, and poured a bowl of cereal. I curled up on the couch, in my One Direction blanket, as I heard the mailbox on the side of my house open and close. Was it really noon already?

I put my bowl on my site table, and shuck out to get my mail, before going back to the couch. Out of six letters, four were junk, and one was a catalog. I looked at the last one curiously; it was a normal letter, but the return address was from America, where the boys were lately. I opened the letter and read the message;

“Dear Sky,

This is Lou. I hope this letter reached you and not someone else. I’ll assume it did. I wanted to start these letters so your brother won’t know about everything we say. Hey, I love him, but this needs to be our relationship, not OUR relationship.

Look, I’ve rewritten this letter over and over on the plane ride here, and read it over and over before I had the nerve to send it. I feel like we have some form of chemistry. We had it on the day we met, remember? I looked into your big green eyes, and couldn’t look away again. Emotions that can grow into something better, and long-lasting.

I’m sorry if this letter tells of unrequited feelings; I just need to know if you feel what I feel to.

I have to go. The Boys are asking me what I’m doing, and that would ruin the whole ‘secret thing’ haha…

Until the next call, I’ll think of you as my Juliet

Love,

Romeo (Louis)

PS: Texts are less romantic, but easier to read on the go. Here‘s my number….”

I stared at my letter in shock; Louis had feelings for me? I never would have thought he did, but then again, I never thought he could write such a beautiful letter either. I thought about his question. Did I want to see if our feelings could grow? I smiled, and wrote a return letter to his number;

“Dear Romeo,

Let‘s give it a try…”

When the boys called, I had a renewed happiness at the thought of something new. Harry sat in the middle on his bed, with Louis and Liam on my left, and Niall and Zayn on my right. “Hey!” they all said in unison. I smiled, “Hey, guys.” “You seem happy today.” Harry pointed out, and I nodded, “I got something in the mail that brightened my day.” Louis smiled, and looked down. “What?” Most of the boys asked, and my gaze subtle shifted to Louis, who looked back up. “I got a catalog of all those Christmas toys.” I said, pulling my catalog into view of the camera. The Boys laughed at my excitement over the ‘catalog’, and Louis bit his lip, and looked down for a second.

My phone, which was on the bed beside me, vibrated. I knew in was from Louis, so I ignored it for the time being.

Suddenly, I heard knocking at their door, and all the boys turned their attention to the room. Not even management knew who I was, so Harry was very cautious when we talked. “Just talking to Gemma.” he yelled to the knocker. Louis tore his attention from the door to me. He smiled, and I grinned back, biting my bottom lip. He mouthed, “You’re beautiful.” and I blushed, looking down. Harry turned back to the screen, and I dropped most of my dopey grin. “We have to go. Say hi to Mom for me.” he said, which he always said if a stranger was in the room. I nodded, “Will do. Bye.” The Boys said bye, as Harry disconnected the call.

I looked down at my text from Louis;

“The catalog? Really?

-Romeo”

I laughed;

“They bought it, didn’t they?

-Juliet”

“Lucky for us.

-Romeo” Louis replied.

I smiled; I knew from that point, that this was going to be something different.
