One Direction went back on tour the next day and, for the first time in years, I didn’t feel so lonely. I had my drawing to get my mind off my solitude.

One day, I was working on it, while listening to One Direction’s TV interview. “Ok guys, we’re live.” The interviewer said, leaning back in his chair, “Keep it clean.” The boys laughed, and the interview commenced. “I asked the viewing audience what questions they wanted me to ask you.” He said, picking up some cards from the table in front of him.

Most of the questions I could answer off the top of my head, and didn’t pay much attention. Finally, The Interviewer said, “Ok, most of your fans asked about the new Larry rumor. So, what is going on between you two?” I looked up from my sketch as Harry licked his lips, a habit we both had when we were unsure how to answer a question. Harry’s expression was mirrored on Louis. “Well, nether of you have girlfriends, right?” The Interviewer asked, either to get some answers, or because he also believed that Larry was real. “Actually, I do.” Louis said, and my ears perked. Was Louis really going to tell the world about me?

Instead, when the name was asked, he said, “She’s in the studio, if you’d to meet her.” I looked at the TV questioningly, and a brunette girl walked onto the stage. I recognized her from pictures Harry had shown me. Her name was Eleanor, but why was she there? As Louis explained how they met, a lump settled in my throat. Harry told me Louis would lie and tell the press he was still single, but I never thought this would happen. I looked at Harry, who obviously knew something I didn’t because he wasn’t flipping out about what was happening. After the interview, I called Harry. “Hello?” he answered. “What are you guys doing?” I asked. “Just got of an interview.” He said, and I sighed, “Yeah, I know…” He sighed back, “I’m sorry. Lou and I’ll explain everything when we get back to the hotel. We’ll Skype you.” “Ok. Love you.” I said, before hanging up.

Two hours later, Louis and Harry were on my laptop screen. “Hi Boys.” I said, as casually as I could with my heart in a dozen pieces. “Hello, Sky.” Harry said, but Louis looked at me with guilt in his eyes. Harry must have told him I knew.

“So, I see you met El…” I said, and that broke him down; “Oh, Sky, I’m so sorry. I wanted to tell you before the interview, but I never had a chance. I figured the best way to get rid of the rumors was to tell the press I had a girlfriend. I mean, I haven’t had a girlfriend since the X-factor and Harry’s been single for a while. I gave El a call, told her I needed a pretend girlfriend, and she agreed.” “But, why do you need a pretend girlfriend?” I asked, “You have a real one right here.” My tear were threatening to stream down my face, and Louis’s eyes did the same. Harry sighed, and finally spoke up, “I can’t let news about you get out.” “Why?” I asked, letting a few tears trail down my cheek, “Because it would be a million questions that you’d have to answer?”

“No, because fame changes people.”

“Yeah. Well, being locked away at the age of 16 does too! Harry, it’s been two and a half years! I can’t stay like this forever!”

We sat in silence for a few seconds before I whispered, “I want to be let out.” I looked up, and noticed Harry was gone. I shifted my gaze to Louis, who has also been crying. We were finally thinking the same thing about my situation. I heard my phone beep, and I looked at it;

“I’ll see what I can do -Romeo”

I looked up, and gave a weak grin, “Thank you, Louis Tomlinson.” Louis gave an equally weak smile, “I love you.” I nodded, “And I, you.” “So, are we ok?” he asked, his tear-stained blue eyes pleading for a yes. “Yes.“ I said, “I don’t like it, but I understand it. Just tell me one thing.” “Anything.” he said, and I bit my lip, “That, in your heart, I’ll still be your one and only…” “Forever and Always.” Louis replied.
