Roaming into the hallways I scanned through the group of students in search for Kahiem but didn't find him.  I shook my head. What the hell am I doing? I'm not suppose to be focusing on some guy right now. And even if, he wouldn't want someone like me. I'm tall AND fat. I have brown curly hair and freckles. I walk like a guy and wears black all the damn time. I mean, compared to how I use to be back in Tulsa, I use to be thin wearing hipster clothing. I was outgoing, always smiling. Things has changed and since we moved now my attitude has grown a bit grim. I also noticed it wasn't only me. My mom begin to work harder than usual and my dad, well my dad was never around. He only popped around when mom desperately needed him for anything. So it just me, my sis and my mom in the household.

Giving a deep sigh I took out my schedule to see what was next. Lunch, Introduction to Algebra then I head home. Good which means today won't be long for me. I headed back down stairs to the cafeteria getting in line to get me some grub. Looking at the prices I was a bit surprised. $1.75 for a pop tart? They must really be desperate. I can easily go to the corner store and get this for seventy-five cents off. Shaking my head I simply grabbed me a bagel and a bottle of water, paying for it then headed out in seek of an empty seat.  Spotting a table at the far left I headed over there, plopping my tray sitting my bum down. I scanned the cafeteria seeking out the people and their crew. I saw jocks, nerds, emos, goths, ghetto people, some colored, some white, some Asian( well very little Asian).

Looking at these people I realized I don't fit anywhere. Most of the things I like and into these people wouldn't be. I can tell.  For an example, the crew sitting at table that sat at the front entrance. As far as I can see, they are into rap music. I may sound racist when I say this but to me from how the way they sag their pants throwing up gang signs and talking wreckless to every girl that enters makes them seem ghetto. If I speak to them about anime or Electronic music to them  they would look at me like I am a damn alien.  That is something that I least want. I am in college now, though I am not very outgoing and that open, I don't want to spend my time in college alone. Its not like how high school was. I had one best friend who's name was Iza. She was a sweet girl, funny and having conversations with her were amazing. She was not an ugly girl either. She was plus size like me except her boobs were huge. I remember her telling me that she no longer wears a size G and that she popped out her bra one day. She wears bigger shirts because of her huge breasts but other than that her mocha skin is flawless. No scars, freckles, bruises, bumps, nothing, She always had her hair and nails done. She went natural with her look. I always thought we had a weird friendship. I mean I was the emo, dull kid and she was the old school church child. People would get so confused but only me and her knew why something so different can fit so well anyway.

As I was staring at the table making my own thesis of the crew I did not noticed the girl standing right in front of me glaring at me with her arms folded. She is beautiful, with a red curly afro, mocha skin and piercing brown eyes that shimmered a bit of red which was weird. I turned full attention on her. She rolled her eyes shifting her weight putting her hand on her hips.

"I'm guessing you didn't hear sh*t I just said.." She said her eye glaring harder making me feel uncomfortable. Her eyes shimmered a red again and I jumped a little as her voice grew louder. "Hello!!! This is our table! Get your a** up!"

I didn't notice the girls standing behind her looking at me shaking their head whispering to each other. A girl with dark green hair with a mixture of black stepped forward. She placed her hand on the angry woman's shoulder then leaned forward.

"You're new?" She asked looking at me with her green eyes. She was beautiful also. As a matter of fact all the women  were beautiful. Her skin soft and she had a septum piercing. She was wearing a white button up shirt, black pants with a chain attached to the hoops of her jeans and some black and green pumps. I like her fashion, sort of punk looking.
