As soon as I walked through the door my mom was standing there.
'How was your day?' she asked.
She never asked me this... Did she know?
'Fine, why did you ask?'
'Because your lit teacher called me saying you failed your midterm'
I was desperate to get out of this conversation,
'Bad day, lots of homework. Bye!'
Rushing up the seemingly long stairs into my room , slamming my door. Why am I so thrown by her? How could I no longer love Gage? Why am I feeling this way? I had so many questions, but no one to ask. My parents would lose their shit, with both my mom and dad being 100% christian they were against a lot of things, including same-sex marriage. I couldn't stand the thought of being gay, I tried to push the thought as far put of my mind as possible.
