Y/n's pov:
I woke up to the smell of pancakes. 'yes! It's Saturday!!' I thought to myself. I stood up and stretched until I made my way to the kitchen. I grabbed the plate of pancakes and poured some milk in a cup and sat down at the table. I put some syrup on my pancakes and started eating.
After I was done eating and washing my dishes, I went upstairs to get dressed to go science museum with my friends. A few minutes later I heard a honk and I looked out my window. I smiled and quickly grabbed a small handbag and ran out of my room. "Mom I'm going to the science museum with my friends! I'll be back soon!" I notified my mom. "Ok be safe sweetheart!" my mom yelled back and with that I left and got in the car with my friends.
When we got to the museum we got a map and started going to all the exhibits. I took my phone out to check the time. It was getting late and the museum was about to close. I told my friends that my mom was going to pick me up and they left. I walked out of the museum and waited for my mom to come.
After a while I saw a white van pull up to a warehouse that was across the street. Three men came out and they looked exactly similar. I had this thought in the back of my head that they were gonna kidnap me since it's New York and it's dangerous at night. I started to look around so I wouldn't make any eye contact with the men. A few minutes or so I heard a really loud sound and it came from the warehouse.
BANG!
There it goes again. I decided to look over to the warehouse and I saw the men hold some type of canister with something inside that was glowing. A part of me wanted to stop them but another part of me didn't want any trouble. I mentally agreed with myself on what to do and I came to an agreement to stop them. I grabbed a rock and three it at one of the men. The rock hit the man that was holding the canister in the head. All three men towards me. 'shit..' I though. Two of the men took out some guns that looked like from an alien syfy movie. They pointed the gun at me and when they started shooting I ducked and got behind a trashcan. I could hear another van approaching and I peeked above the trashcan to see and instead on people I saw robots with pink thingies in their stomach region. Then they started shooting at me and ducked my head and closed my eyes. "Kraang it is the turtle known as Donatello." I heard one of the robot things say.
The shooting stopped around me and I opened my eyes. I stood up and looked towards the robots who are supposedly called the Kraang. They were shooting at a giant turtle with a purple mask and a stick with wrappings in the middle. It didn't take long for the turtle to finish them off. I walked over to the turtle cautiously. The turtle grabbed the canister and turned towards me. I stared at him while he stared at me.
"Hey, I'm y/n and thank you." I said with a smile and my hand held out. He smiled back and I could see he had a gap on the top row of his teeth. He shook my hand and said, "hello nice to meet you y/n, I'm Donatello but you can call me Donnie or don if you like and your very welcome." I looked at the canister, "what's that?" I asked. He looked at the canister then back at me. "It's mutagen and it's very dangerous it can turn you into a freak like myself." Donnie replied. "You're not a freak." I said. "I bet you do think I am." He said a bit sadly. I put my hand on his shoulder and smiled. "To be honest I think you're awesome." I said. He looked at me and smiled showing his gap tooth. "Well I gotta go y/n I hope I see you again." Donnie said while handing me a piece of paper with his number on it. "Call me if you need help or just wanna chat." He said and left.
A few seconds later my mom got here and I got into the car and buckled myself. "Did you have fun today?" she asked while driving home. "Definitely." i replied and I looked out the window thinking about Donnie.
