Y/n's pov:
Tonight is a very special night. Leo and I are going on our very first date! I'm so excited! Right now I am currently choosing something to wear. I'll just wear something casual. I made my way towards the kitchen to grab a glass of water. I grabbed a glass cup from the cabinet and filled it halfway with water.
"Hey sweetie, you going somewhere?"
I turned around to see my mom. I took a sip of my water. I placed the glass cup down on the counter. "I'm just going to go see my friend at the park." My mom had a smug smile on her face as she walked towards me.
"You're going to go see Leo aren't you?" I shrugged. "Maybe I am and maybe I'm not."
"Alright but make sure to come back home before midnight sweetie." I nodded and qent over to her and kissed her cheek.
"Will do, bye mom!" I waved bye and walked out of my house. I made my way over to an alley where Leo asked me to meet him. I waited for a couple of minutes until I heard a soft thud behind me. I turned around to see Leo standing there with a bouquet of flowers in his right hand. He walked over to me and handed me the flowers. "Leo, these are beautiful. Thank you." The colors of the flowers are vibrant and the texture makes it even more beautiful.
"They're not as beautiful as you." Leo said as he rubbed the back of his neck with a pink tint on his cheeks. My cheeks started to burn as the butterlfies in my stomach started to flutter.
"Anyway, shall we?" Leo asked as he held out his hand. I giggled and held his hand. "We shall." We both escalated to the rooftops and walked. After a couple of minutes of comfortable silence we descended back to the ground and walked into the park. Leo escorted me to a pond where there was a small picnic set up. The water glistened as the reflection of the full moon was shown brightly.
The park looked so beautiful at night. The small candle next to a basket made the entire thing romantic. Leo and I sat down, he reached into the basket and pulled out two cans of sodas and gave one to me.
"This is so romantic, Leo." I rwached into the basket and grabbed two boxes of Chinese food. We talked, laughed, ate, and laughed more as we both talked about our childhood memories.
After an hour and a half of talking we just stared at the pond in silence. I smiled as the water shimmerd. I felt like I was being watched. I turned to my left to see Leo staring at me with a warm and adorable smile on his face. I stared into his ocean blue eyes as he stared into my e/c eyes. His cheeks turned a light shade of pink as he slowly leaned forward. My heart started pounding as my cheeks burned. I unconsciously leaned foward as well. Our eyes fluttered closed as ours lips met and it felt wonderful. His lips were so soft and perfect. Everything right now was perfect. The kiss lasted for only a minute. We pulled back from the kiss and I noticed his had a goofy smile plastered on his face.
"That was.." I couldn't even finish my sentence, words can't explain how great that kiss felt.
"..Amazing." Leo finished for me. I blushed and nodded. "Yeah, amazing." He wrapped his arm around me as I layed my head on his shoulder. Life is great.
